Jesse finished his dinner super fast and stared at me while I finished mine.
"Stop it, Jess. Stop it, stop it, stop it!" I told him, getting in his face.
"Did you guys have a fight?" Michelle asked.
Jesse smiled and kissed me.
"I guess not...."
"Jess, why don't you let Becky, and all of us, eat in peace?" Joey was obviously annoyed.
We stopped and I ate the last bite of my chicken. "All done."
Jesse stood up. "Can we be excused? Yeah? Great, thanks." He grabbed my hand and pulled me upstairs.
I closed the door. "Jess, What is your hurry?"
He pushed me against the door and kissed me like he had never done before.
Afterwards, I remembered the promise I had made him earlier. "Ohhhh...."
So that night I fulfilled my promise.
*******
Saturday finally came, and we were ready to move.
We gave everyone hugs. "Bye, guys! We'll miss you!"
"Do you have to go?" Michelle asked Jesse.
He leaned over so he could be face level with Michelle. She was eleven, but still petite. Course, Jesse was six feet tall. "Yes, Munchkin. I need to go make a living, and Nicky and Alex and Pammie and Priscilla need room to grow. But you can come visit on the weekends or on holidays."
Michelle hugged him. "I love you, Uncle Jesse."
"I love you, too." He gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Come on, Jess. If we wanna make it before rush hour, we'd better leave." I held Pammie in my arms. She had attached herself to me, right after Priscilla attached herself to Jesse.
"Bye!!"
We got in the car and followed the moving van to LA, which took nearly five hours.
When we got to the house, Marc Jacoba  was waiting for us.
"Hello, friends!" He waved to the family. "I'm Marc Jacoba, a cameraman and your friend!"
I looked at Jesse, then at Mr. Jacoba.  "Mr. Jacoba, this is really nice of you to let us use your home." I smiled as I shook his hand.
"Please, call me Marc."
"Listen, Marc. We really appreciate this." Jesse told him.
"It was nothing. Plus, the boss practically begged Angie to get you."
"Who's Angie?" I wondered.
"Angie is my soon to be wife." He smiled proudly. I'd say he was about Jesse's age when we got married.
"Aw, that's so sweet. When are you gonna get married?" I shifted Pammie to my other arm as Nicky and Alex got a ball out of the car.
"February 14th."
"February 14th! Jess, isn't that romantic?" I smiled.
"A coincidence, too. We were married Valentine's Day." Jesse and I followed Marc into the house.
"No kiddin'?" He three the keys on the table.
"Yeah, we— Whoa!" I looked at the huge place.
"Have mercy!" Jesse looked at it, too. "Oh, this is perfect. Absolutely perfect."
"I love, love, love it! All the natural light and that fireplace? Oh, Marc, I love it!"
"Good. Now for the tour.  As you can see, this is the family or living room, whichever you want it to be. There are hard wood floors, excellent lighting fixtures, big comfy couches, and the latest technologies." He conducted it very well. "We'll go to the kitchen first."
"Can't we see the master suite first?" Jesse wondered.
"Jesse!" I laughed as we followed Marc to the kitchen.
