The earliest doctor appointment we could get was Monday morning.
After I took the kids to school and found a last minute baby sitter, I left do the doctors.

After my appointment, I drove to the General Hospital sound stage. I parked my car in a shopping center a block away because there was no parking space at the studio. I walked a little faster than I usually do. I walked into the studio, but couldn't get onto the set right away as they were recording. I waited till the red light was off. "Thanks...."
"Charlie." The guard, or whoever he was, told me his name.
I smiled for the first time in a long time. "Charlie."
I walked up to the camera crew, looking for Jesse. I saw him and watched for a little.
"Mmm.... I dunno. I think it should be a happy tune, but turn into a sad one when she frowns."
"If that's what you think, Mr. Katsopolis." A young assistant  responded. She turned to leave.
"Call me Jesse!" He called after her.
I walked up to Jesse, who didn't know I was there. He sighed as he turned around. "Becky!" He looked at my fallen face. "Uh-oh. What was the result?"
I hugged him as I said, "oh, Jesse. Jesse, Jesse, Jesse."
"What was it?"
I pulled away and looked at him straight in the eye.
"What is it, Becky? Tell me!"
Bringing my clasped hands up to where my rib cage ended, I sighed. I looked down and quietly told him, "I'm pregnant."
