History: Kiri was born on a warm summer morning, but could hardly breath. The fire nation doctors couldn't help her. So Iroh did the only thing he could think of. He took his family to a the sun temple. Lu Ten worried about his new baby sister. But Anita and Iroh assured him she'd be alright.
Once they reached the temple Iroh put her on the dais. He then prayed to the sun spirit while Anita held a sleeping Lu Ten. The sun spirit came down from the sun and hovered over the newborn baby. (Sun spirit: https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/avatar/images/d/d5/Dragon_bird_spirit.png/revision/latest?cb=20131109192423). It placed on of it's whiskers on the baby's forehead and she glowed. Her black hair turned red as she started to cry loudly.
The spirit disappeared as Lu Ten ran over to the dais. Iroh held his daughter and named her Kiri after the sun. The family returned to the fire nation where Iroh told people the mark on her forehead was a birthmark. Zuko loved his new little cousin. It was announced that Ursa was pregnant again with her second child. The fire nation rejoiced at the news of another heir and of the news that the new princess is well.
Twelve years later Iroh allowed thirteen year old Zuko and his twelve year old daughter into a meeting. Lu Ten had died two years ago in battle. Anita died seven years ago from an unknown illness. Ursa gave birth to a daughter named Azula and disappeared shortly after Anita's death.
Anyway Zuko spoke out of turn when the plan to sacrifice new warriors to gain control of an earth bending village. He then had to face an agni ki the next morning. He and Kiri thought he'd be facing the general he spoke out against. Instead he face his father, the fire lord and he begged for mercy. But Ozai showed none and scared his face with a nasty burn.
Then banished him until such time he caught the avatar. Only then would he be allowed to return home. Iroh and Kiri decided to go with him. So they took a fire nation ship and soldiers. Then left the fire nation to begin Zuko's search for the avatar.
They searched for three years while they continued to train. Kiri training privately with her father in the sun warrior way. He told her why she looked different and how she was given life by the sun spirit. Kiri always felt weaker then others at night, but was good at hiding it. While on the journey Iroh got her a fire ferret as a pet and she named it Miko. Anyway time to begin the story.
