When Hana and Akasuki arrived in front of the dorm gate, it was rowdier than usually. Probably because everyone is hyped up for St. Xocolatl's Day tomorrow.
She spotted Zero being crowded by three girls which didn't surprise her. Though Zero was an uptight guy, he was very good-looking so his looks totally overpowers his stinky personality.
Near the front of the gate was Yuki being pushed around by the men-obsessed Day Class students, some of them already having their handmade chocolates.
"Hana, seems like I'm not the only one excited for tomorrow huh?"
"Yep, so tonight I'll help you make the most delicious chocolate ever so Hanabusa will only remember yours."
The shorter girl hugged the taller girl and shouted with glee, "Thank you Hana!"
For Hana, it was the only thing she could do for her innocent-idiotic friend.
Over the shouts of the Day Class students, a loud whistle was heard silencing everyone. Standing on top of the wall was Yuki.
"Giving them chocolate before the official date is prohibited!" Thank goodness, Hana was about to slap some chocolates to the ground.
A girl next to Hana and Akasuki stated, "But I have to give them my chocolates!" She then got on top of her friend's shoulders, and the girl started to be raised up to climb over the wall. Hana scoffed a little. Someone's desperate.
"Hey you!" Yuki shouted pointing at the duo. "Don't try to go over the wall! Watch out!"
The girl under her started to wobble causing the one on top to lose her balance and fall back. Hana pulled Akasuki away by her collar. If not, Akasuki would've been either squashed by the falling girl or pushed by Zero.
Like a knight saving a troubled princess, Zero had swiftly caught the falling Day Class student in his arms sending relief to everyone who watched, especially Yuki.
"Th-Thank you..." Hana can tell this student was whipped.
"Zero that was great!" Yuki cheered from above.
The two both got up. The girl looked up at him with admiration but was totally crushed by his glare. Serves her right.
"S-Sorry!"
"If too many people try to break the rules, then the event may be discontinued all together," Zero loudly stated.
Everyone started to groan and complain.
"Hana do you think they will cancel St. Xocolatl's Day?"
"No, he's just warning everyone."
When Yuki jumped down, the gates finally opened, and everyone who was once upset were back to being energetic and happy.
Hana spotted Takuma right away since today he is first from the Night Class. Maybe she should make him some chocolates. Everyone who is obsessed with the Night Class are going to give chocolates, it'll be weird if she doesn't.
"Hey! Don't push! Don't push!" From where Hana was standing, she could see Yuki struggling with the students but was looking at Kaname. She immediately looked at Zero to see him staring at Yuki. No surprise. What a wimp, he should use his advantage of being with Yuki everyday to tell her how he feels than to stare at her like a kicked puppy.
Suddenly, Kaname stopped walking and turned around. He stopped in front of Zero.
"Kiryu-kun, how are you feeling? Take care of yourself." And after that, he went back to the Night Class.
Weird.
"If you're trying to start something, I'll challenge you anytime, Kuran-senpai."
And there you have it folks! Stay tune for tomorrow when it's St. Xocolatl's Day. Who will Yuki give her chocolates to? Her beloved senpai or her brother? What a sitcom.
"Akasuki, let's go ask Headmaster if we can use his kitchen. The dormitory kitchen will probably be crowded."
"Oh, you're right Hana. Let's hurry."
Since Hana was a student well known in the Day Class to be a role model, Headmaster Cross, always calling her 'Our Hana', gave them the approval for the two to use his kitchen as long as one of the prefects takes them back to the Sun Dormitory.
When they arrived with the ingredients and materials, Yuki was already in the kitchen chopping up some chocolate.
"Yuki-chan!"
She stopped working. "Oh, Akasuki-senpai and Ikeda-senpai! Headmaster told me about you two coming here. I'll be the one taking you back."
"Thank you Yuki-chan!"
"Thank you. I appreciate you doing that," Hana said bowing and pushing Akasuki's head down as well.
"No need to worry about it!" Yuki panically said. "Help yourself senpais."
As Hana set up the ingredients, Akasuki was sent to prep the materials for wrapping the chocolates. Yuki did a double take at all the elegant and pretty wrappers, boxes, and ribbons.
"Wow! Those are all pretty!"
"Really? I think so too. Hana helped me get them."
Overhearing their conversation, Hana said, "If you like Cross, you can use what ever you like."
"Ehh! Really?!"
"Go ahead, Hana brought a lot for me. I probably won't use them all anyway."
"Thank you Ikeda-senpai, Akasuki-senpai!"
As Yuki started on her own chocolate after dropping some utensils along the way, Hana set up everything for herself and Akasuki.
"Two... Hana you're also making chocolates?"
"Hm. I decided to since everyone else is."
"Ikeda-san, who are you making chocolates for?" Yuki asked.
"I'm making them for Takuma... and the Headmaster."
"EHHH?!" Both shorter girls were appalled.
Hana gave the two a deadpanned look. "It's just for gratitude, nothing else." That allowed the two to release a breath of relief.
"What about you Yuki-chan? I'm making mine for Idol-senpai!"
"Well... um... I don't know yet," she laughed.
"Oh I see, it's okay. Let's do our best though!"
"Yes!"
The three managed to finish each of their chocolates before midnight. With the help of Hana, Akasuki and Yuki successfully made edible chocolates.
For Akasuki, Hana picked out a unique recipe of white chocolate for her that she calls Petals in Milk sided with A Love Mess.
Petals in Milk was simply white chocolate bark with dried strawberries sliced like petals inside. A Love Mess were popcorn that's covered with white chocolate and drizzled with strawberry chocolate. Hana was proud of herself for helping Akasuki.
For herself, Hana made Chicken Pox Love for Headmaster Cross and Drunk Hearts for Takuma.
Chicken Pox Love were strawberry and cream truffles. The inside was a smooth strawberry cream filling while the shell waswhite chocolate infused with real strawberries making it look like chicken pox. Drunk Hearts are heart-shaped treats filled with creamy raspberry ganache with hints of cognac and champagne.
When they finished wrapping the chocolates, Yuki was already done too. She made two chocolates... Hana wonders who the two are for... hmm?
It's sarcasm. She totally knows who.
