Trouble in paradise!

It's Friday, and I'm leaving my workplace. Good Lord I've been waiting for the whole week to end since Monday.

I checked my phone - 03:05pm

I already know what I'm going to do this weekend; I'm going to do absolutely nothing. Call me lazy if you really wish but I've worked my ass off and I totally deserve this weekend.

I got in my car, plugged my phone in and hit shuffle play.

Maybe I should have a hot bubble bath? That sounds so good right about now...

I continued to fantasise about my dream weekend (consisting of nothing productive) until I reached the outside of my house.

3:58pm

I threw myself into my couch and sunk into it, letting out a sigh of relief.

4:00pm

The moment I found a spot comfortable enough for me on my sofa was when the doorbell rang.

Damn it.

I know that I definitely didn't invite anyone over because that'll ruin the flow of my unproductive weekend, and I haven't ordered anything online recently so I can confirm that it's not anyone important behind that door. But, I can't 100% be sure unless I get up and check.

But... I'm too comfortable...

To check, or not to check? That is the question.

The doorbell chimmed once more.

Not to check.
That is the answer.

Nothing is going to get me between  RuPaul's drag race! I need to play serious catch-up since I'm so far behind.

"So this is commoner entertainment?"

Who the hell just said that?!

Petrified, I slowly turned around to face the source of that condescending
voice.

"Arcangelo Corelli?!"

"I see that you're a woman with a good eye. Get up because I have a spare seat available in my private jet and the Maldives is calling my name."

"W-what!? What's going on? I'm so confused!" I fired questions at him, blushing when I noticed how attractive he was. He isn't the most eligble bachelor for nothing. Luckily though I managed to hide my blush from his sight.

He let out a slightly irritated sigh and facepalmed to accompany it.

"Are all commoners as airheaded as you? I'm asking you to come with me to the Maldives in my private jet. If you're not careful, all of these questions you ask are going to change my mind."

In sync the east side gentlemen all snickered and Arcangelo looked relatively smug.

"Oh I'm sorry, I...I'm just surprised by everything right now. Of course I'd love to go, but why have you chosen me of all people? I asked, standing up and began heading to my room to start packing.

He grabbed my shoulder which stopped me in place as he replied "Be honest. Did you really have anything better to do, commoner?"

"Well..." I began.

"I thought as much. And just a heads up, all you're going to need is a bikini and the clothes on your back. I don't plan on staying there for long because Im a very busy man."

"Oh..." is all I could muster as I opened my wardrobe and picked out my favourite bikini. Admittedly, I've never been one you could really call a shy person, but Arcangelo has the ability to lower me into a flustered mess.

What is this feeling and where has it suddenly come from?

"Are you done there yet? This poor man's entertainment is going to poison my brain!" Arcangelo yelled.

"Almost, I'm just putting it on!" I told him calmly in contrast to his tone.

I slipped into my two piece swiftly and wore a nice outfit on top of it. I made sure to freshen myself up and reapply my makeup so I would look like less of a train wreck.

Once I was done I headed down to the living room to see Arcangelo and the Eastside gentlemen all crowded around my couch.

"No! Ongina deserves to stay!!"

"Oh? Enjoying the "poor man's entertainment" I see?" I chuckled, raising a questioning eyebrow.

"No! I would never! It's not what it looks like, you just don't know the contex-"  For some reason, he stopped dead in his tracks when he turned to see me. I observed his godly face and I noticed a rose blush spreading across his cheeks as he struggled to find the correct words to say next. Seeing his reaction just made me react in a similar way; Maybe... just maybe I have a chance wit-

Nonsense! Brain, Silence your incessant noise!

"Why don't we just get going now?" His tone had completely changed to one of a more gentle background.

So I unlocked my front door, but to my surprise Arcangelo's private jet was parked right there waiting for us to board.

"Ladies first." He said with a bow. Such a small gesture made me feel like a queen!

I noticed that the Eastside gentlemen didn't join us on the jet but it wasn't at the top of my concerns so I ignored it and decided to not bother bringing it up to Arcangelo.

Once we chose the perfect seats, he offered me the most expensive wines to start our journey off.

Now this was a lifestyle I could easily adjust to!

By the time we reached landing I had already stuffed myself with foie gras, smoked salmon and what felt like 200 different types of cheeses, because why not? Not to mention I washed everything down with finely aged wine.

I looked through one of the windows and I saw a single expensive looking cabin on an empty beautiful clear water beach. I couldn't help but make my astonishment known by my reactions, but Arcangelo chuckled at me in good spirit.

"Your reaction is nothing unexpected. The clear water is probably tempting but I have something in my hut that I want to show you before we begin."

"Oh okay. what are we waiting for?"

After I said this Arcangelo and I left the jet. At first, I didn't think too much of it until I realised that Arcangelo was holding my hand! And, he's blushing really deeply too!

I watched as he opened the door to the cabin but turned around to lock the door behind him as soon as I stepped in.

"Wait... I thought you just had something that you wanted to show me?"

As soon as I said this, he growled like a ferel animal and stripped his blazer from his back, then proceeded tossed it aside like it was nothing.

"Yeah. I have something that I need to show you." He growled and ruffled his hair- what I saw shocked me to say the least.

"Furry ears?!?"

The moment I pointed them out he removed his turtle neck too and intimidatingly approached me slowly. His arms and chest were covered in fur too, and his teeth almost resembled fangs!  Soon, I had been backed against a wall, and I couldn't do much since he had me pinned against the wall as he breathed alarmingly fast and heavily while in this position.

I was in a state of shock. I couldn't form sentences.

"Arc-"

"Be quiet." He snapped.

My heart was beating rapidly. Sweat rolled down my forehead.

He unbuckled his belt but unlike the other articles of clothing he kept it in his hand. Then, his trousers came down.

Is that...

A TAIL?!

Instinctively I screamed, hoping that somebody would be able to rescue me! I should have know that this offer was too good to be true!

To be continued...
