(3) Day of adventures

Peyton's Pov—

I woke up on the floor, I probably fell off of the couch last night. Everyone was still asleep, I walked over to my bag and grabbed my toothbrush and toothpaste, went to the bathroom and washed up. I walked back into the living room, with everyone still asleep. I went to my bag and put my toothbrush and toothpaste away, and grabbed my outfit. I went back into the bathroom, locked the door, then changed. I walked out, to find Kita talking in her sleep. "Stoppp" she said him her sleep, "I'm not short!" She angrily stated, yet still asleep. I sat on the couch, and played on my phone for a good hour before James woke up. "Good morning." I said and smiled. "Good morning" James sleepily said. I went to the kitchen and spotted the coffee maker, I whipped up some coffee and brought it to James to wake him up a bit. "Thanks!" He said, taking the coffee. "No problem, do you by chance have any tea?" I asked, "I think there is some in the fridge" he replied. I walked back into the kitchen, opening the fridge just to find the holy substance, tea. I grabbed the bottle of the pure leaf tea, opening it and taking a sip, walking back to the living and sitting next to James. We both drank our beverages while waiting for Kita and Callum to wake up.

       After about an hour of waiting, They both woke up. "Good morning, er, um noon" James said, he wasn't wrong, it is already 12:00pm. "It's already noon?!?" Callum asked, "mhm" I replied. "Do you guys wanna go to the mall?" I asked, I wanted to get my mind off finding an apartment. They all agreed and we all got ready to go to the mall. I walked outside to the blistering heat of Jacksonville. Now I regret not  putting sunscreen on. Kita, Callum, and James all seemed unfazed by the heat, but I was over here dying of heat. "You ok Peyton?" James asked, "mhm, it's just hot, I'm not used to it." I replied. "Take your jacket off" James chuckled. I completely forgot i had my flannel on as a jacket. I took it off, relieving myself from the heat, and tied it around my waist. "I'm so stupid, I completely forgot I had that on", I laughed. "Honestly I do that all of the time", Kita said. We chatted on the way and we arrived at the large mall, and when i say large i mean larger than i have ever seen. We walked in, being greeted by the map of the mall. "So i think we should do the buddy system..." Callum request. "Umm, Peyton and James stick together and Kita and I will" he said. "Alright" i responded, Kita and him trotted off towards one of the many stores, leaving James and I at the map.

I checked the map, finally finding bath and body works, "second floor, to the right, then another right, and its on your left" i said, trying to make James guess the store. "Ummm, Bath and Body? Or the toy store?" He guessed, slightly laughing when he said the toy store, "oh yeah, definitely the toy store" i sarcastically responded.

James's pov--

We walked over to the stairs and quickly walked up them. Peyton took the right, then the other right, causing me to wonder if we were going to the toy store. And nope, she stopped at bath and body works... Great. she walked in, automatically starting to smell the sprays and lotions as i waited by the entrance. After about 35 minutes of waiting, she came out with like 7 bags. "They had a sale.... Like a really good one, and i had coupons, like a lot of coupons..." She tried to explain herself, i laughed at the amount of bags she was holding, "and i only spent 78$ because of the amount of coupons :D" she enthusiastically said, me yeast again laughing. I took 3 of the bags from her and carried them, "thanks" she said, "no problem". We wondered the mall aimlessly for a good hour, talking, laughing, and getting to know eachother. I found Hollister and had the urge to go in, "oh! I think Hollister is having a huge sale! Do you. Want to go?" Peyton asked, as if she could sense that i wanted to go in. "Sure!" I said walking to the store, looking at the clothing. In the end i picked out a nice shirt and met back up with Peyton. "Thats all?" Peyton asked, "yeah..." I responded to her question. The rest of the day went on, we went through all of the stores and then finally left the mall. I headed back home and put all of my bags down, happy that this day happened. I really love my friends.
