Chapter 10: Rebels

After ducking through a few alleyways we enter a forest area, soon we come to what looks like an abandoned hospital
"Wow I didn't realize this place existed "
He snorts
{Jiyong}"that's the point, we have done everything we can to keep this place hidden, if you knew this place existed then we would have failed"
"Right, good point, Haha"
We walk inside
{Jiyong}"Hey I'm back! I brought some new allies"
In the far side of the room that we entered there's someone sitting, as we walk over to him he gets up

{Jiyong}"Hey bro, this is Y/N, she is going to fix your leg"
He looks at me
{???}"can you really?"
"Yeah I absolutely can, it may take a little time to get the parts I need but I will get you back to full power"
He gives a small smile
{???}"Thank you, you can call me Top"
"Ok, nice to meet you Top"
As we are talking three other people come over
{???}"Hey Jiyong Who is this?"
{Jiyong}"Ahh, Everyone this's Y/N she is going to be our mechanic"
{???}"woh really?! Nice to meet you
Y/N! My name is Seungri, please take care of Top"
"It's nice to meet you Seungri, don't worry he will be just fine"
After Seungri I meet Daesung and Taeyang
"So is this all of you? I figured a rebel group would have more people"
They go quiet, then Jiyong speaks up
{Jiyong}"we had one other member but he disappeared a few nights ago..."
"Oh that's unfortunate, do you know what could have happened to him?"
{Jiyong}"no but he probably got caught by a human, he was always far to kind to them, always trying to help them even after what they did to him..."
{Daesung}"that idiot, his luck had to run out eventually, I wish he had been more cautious around humans"
"What was his name? I might be able to find out what happened to him"
{Jiyong}"...his name was Jungkook"
Me and Tae look at each other
{Jiyong}"what?"
"Well funny story, Jungkook is living at my house..."
{Jiyong}"seriously?!"
"Yep"
{Jiyong}"Jeez that kid, the least he could do is let us know he's ok, we where worried sick"
"Would you like me to send him back here?"
{Jiyong}"Nah it's fine, as long as he's happy he can stay wherever he wants, just let him know we still exist and would appreciate it if he let us know next time"
"Can do"
After we all chat for awhile I realize it's started to get dark
"Crap we should get home, the others must be getting worried, I will be back tomorrow to fix Top's leg, ok?"
{Jiyong}"ok, Thank you for helping us and for taking care of Jungkook"
"No worries, I'm always happy to help"
We leave and start walking home, eventually we make it home but it has gotten quite late, when we enter the house is dark except the TV is on and all the boys except one are passed out around the TV, the only one still wide awake is Jungkook, he notices that we are back and whispers at us
{Jungkook}"Hey, Welcome back"
"Hey, Sorry we are getting back so late, Jeez you guys didn't have to say up"
{Jungkook}"we were worried"
"Sorry, we met a group of people while we were out and lost track of time"
{Jungkook}"a group?"
"I will tell you about it tomorrow, let's get everyone in bed now"
I walk over to Jin and gently shake him
"Hey you should go to bed"
{Jin}"mmm... ok"
He sluggishly gets up and starts walking to his room, I follow him until I'm sure he gets there safely, I go back and do the same with Namjoon and Hobi, Jungkook picks up Jimin and carries him to his room, Tae has already gone to his room so all that's left is Yoongi...
"Hmm, I can't just leave him here... Hey, Yoongi wake up!"
{Yoongi}"mmm sleep"
He swats me away
"Hhhh, come on"
I grab his hands and try to pull him up, with very little success
"Please get up, I'm not going to just leave you here, wouldn't you be much comfier on your own bed?"
He sits up
{Yoongi}"clearly your not going to leave me alone till I get up"
"Yep, hehe"
I give him a sheepish smile, he gets up and walks to his room
"Now time for me to go to bed"
I walk to my room and settle in for bed, when I wake up the wonderful smell of French toast wafts into my room, I get up and walk into the living room, Namjoon, Tae and Jimin are chilling on the couch
"Morning"
{Namjoon}"Good morning, I'm glad you both got home safe last night, I was very worried..."
"Sorry to worry you, we just got a little distracted"
{Namjoon}"it's ok, just please be careful when you go out"
"I will"
I smile at him and continue walking to the kitchen, Jin and Hobi are sitting in the kitchen taking
"Good morning you two, breakfast smells amazing!"
{Jin}"morning, let me know what you think of it, I'm experimenting with some new recipes"
{Hobi}"good morning! I think it tasted amazing!"
Yoongi walks in
{Yoongi}"shhh! Why do we have to be so loud in the morning?"
"Good morning to you too, here eat"
He takes it and walks back to his bedroom
*he seems more grumpy than usual, I hope he got enough sleep*
I have seen everyone this morning except for Jungkook he must still be sleeping, I decide to go wake him up, when I get to his room I knock on the door
"Jungkook? Are you awake?"
I wait a minute... no response
"I'm coming in"
I tentatively open the door, once I enter I see an adorable sight, he is sprawled out across the bed with the blanket only half on him, next to his pillow is my tablet, he must have been up for a while after we got back, I walk over to the bed and try to arrange him so he isn't all over the place and pull the blankets back onto him but as I'm doing that he grabs me and pulls me into the bed, I lay there stunned, when I get a look at his face he is definitely still sleeping
*he must have unconsciously grabbed me in his sleep, how cute"
I try to wiggle free but he just hugs me more, welp now what am I supposed to do, I sit there for a while trying to think of an escape plan, I decide to try and slowly slip out of his arms, slowly inch by inch I slide my way out, but just as I get free he unconsciously grabs my wrist, dam it, I slowly try to pull my hand free, after a few long minutes I manage to free my hand and I promptly back away, I turn to leave
{Jungkook}"Y/N? What's up?"
He speaks in a husky sleepy voice
"Oops, I didn't mean to wake you, I just came to check on you, since you hadn't come out for breakfast"
{Jungkook}"it's ok, you didn't wake me, off topic but since your here, do you mind telling me what kept you out so late?"
"Ahh, of course, you see we ran into some friends of yours while we were on our way back, we chatted for a while, they wanted me to tell you to let them know next time you decide to disappear"
{Jungkook}"...........Oops"
He looks away and rubs the back of his neck
{Jungkook}"I might have forgotten to let them know I was ok, at first I had planned not to tell them because they always scold me for interacting with humans and I was going to go back as soon as I could, but I got so distracted that I totally forgot..."
"I see, well no worries, now they know where you are and that you are happy and healthy"
{Jungkook}"that's good, but I do still feel guilty, they must have been really worried..."
He lowers his head, guilt written all over his face
"Hmm, tell you what, how about you come with me today, I have to go out and grab some parts and then I'm going back to the hideout, that way you can properly apologize"
His eyes light up
{Jungkook}"Ok, that would be perfect, thank you Y/N"
He smiles at me
*he's so cute*
"I'm going to go get ready to leave, be prepared to leave in half an hour"
{Jungkook}"ok I'm going to go have breakfast and say morning to everyone"
I leave the room and get ready to go, as I'm getting ready I get a text, when I look at my phone I'm filled with an immediate sense of dread, it's my sister...
{Haru} [Hey I'm going to crash at your place in a week, so make sure to clean up]
[umm no...]
{Haru} [What!]
[No, you can't crash at my place.]
{Haru} [I wasn't asking.]
[I don't care if you were asking, you are not staying at my house! and if you try and come you will not be let in!]
After that she doesn't respond
*I hope that's the last of her*
I walk out to the living room, Jungkook is sitting on the couch waiting for me
"You ready to go?"
{Jungkook}"yep!"
We both leave and head towards the mall, after getting the stuff I need we start walking to the hideout
{Jungkook}"So why do you need all these parts?"
"Ahh I guess it happened recently then, Top got pretty badly damaged so I'm going to fix him up"
{Jungkook}"What!?"
"Don't worry, he's ok he just needs some new parts"
{Jungkook}"I see..."
He remains quiet for the rest of the walk, when we get there it looks like no one's there, but when we walk inside someone tackles Jungkook in a hug
{Seungri}"Your back!!! We were so worried!"
Seungri quickly gets off of him and gives him a hand up
{Jungkook}"Sorry..."
He looks at the ground and shuffles his feet, Jiyong comes over and grabs him in a hand lock
{Jiyong}"you don't need to be sorry, as long as your ok and promise not to do that again, then it's all good"
Jungkook smiles
{Jungkook}"ok! So what have I missed since I have been gone?"
At this point I leave them to catch up and go attend to Top, he's tucked away in a far corner of the room where you wouldn't be able to see him when you come it, as I approach he looks up at me
{Top}"Oh hey! So you really did come back"
"I told you I would, I may be human but I'm not going to just leave someone who needs help, regardless of if they are android or not"
{Top}"I see that now"
I sit down next to him and start working on his leg
{Top}"I see you brought Jungkook back to see us"
"I figured it was probably best if he tagged along, especially because he was feeling very guilty about this whole mess"
{Top}"I see, it's comforting to know he is living with such a kind friend, I wish I had known he was with someone like you sooner"
He gets a thoughtful look on his face
"Hey, do you mind if I ask, what is Jungkook's story?"
{Top}"his story? Well... I can't tell you much, I think it's up to him to tell you it, but I will say he has a very strong connection to humans"
"Hmm... welp I guess I will have to just ask him"
I smile at Top, after I finish fixing his leg I give him a hand up and we walk over to where the others are chilling
"All finished, he won't be having any problems with that leg for a long time"
{Everyone}"Yay!!"
They all crowd around him to get a look at his newly repaired leg
{Jiyong}"you really are an amazing android mechanic"
"Aww Thank you, I hope in the future you boys are more careful, I will do my best but I can't fix everything"
{Jiyong}"we will try to be more careful in the future..."
"Good, then I will do my best to help you guys out"
We continue to talk for a while, then me and Jungkook leave
"So what do you want to do now?"
{Jungkook}"hmm let's go to the... amusement park!"
He gets super excited and gets a big bunny smile
"Ok let's go"
We head off to the amusement park, as soon as we enter the park we spot the roller coaster and Jungkook wants to ride it, we get on and I hold on to the safety bar for dear life, but when I look over at Jungkook he seems to be having the time of his life, with a giant grin on his face and his hands up in the air, I decide to try and put my hands up too, when I have finally raised them we start to go down a hill , I'm terrified but Jungkook reaches over and grabs my hand
*for some reason I feel a lot safer*
We continue walking hand in hand, we decide to check out the aquarium, there are so many different animals, jellyfish, seals, otters, tons of different fish, as we walk through the aquarium we come to a tunnel, it's so beautiful

It's amazing to see all these different animals, this is one of the few places in the world where you can still see these animals alive, once we get to the end of the tunnel we realize we are in the middle of a huge tank, swimming passed there is a big whale shark

"Wow! so pretty!"
{Jungkook}"Yeah"
He squeezes my hand a little, I look over and he looks at me and smiles, we continue on to the rest of the attractions at the park
(A few hours later)
"Hmm it's starting to get dark, we should start heading back"
{Jungkook}"aww come on! one more ride! How about that one"
He points to the carousel
"Fine but after that we need to head straight back"
{Jungkook}"Yay!"
We walk over and each hop on one of the horses, the ride starts and we go round and round, when I look at Jungkook he seems so happy, after the ride ends Jungkook asks me to take a picture of him

We head back, on the way I decided to ask him about his past
"Hey, Jungkook? Do you mind if I ask what you were doing before you joined the rebels?"
{Jungkook}"Mmm, well before I joined them I had an owner, she was a sweet old lady, she was always so caring even tho I was an android, last year she died and I got passed down to her children, but they hated me because she always gave me so much love and attention, they would always throw things at me and yelled at me, one day they finally decided they were going to have me scraped... so I ran away and never looked back"
"Wow... that's horrible"
{Jungkook}"Yeah... But! That's in the past now I have you and I'm happier than ever"
"True"
We stop for a second and I hug him
*I will protect him*
