I ran into my walk-in wardrobe and threw on a pair of black leggings and my white FILA trainers and ran downstairs, took the keys to my Mercedes and zoomed off til I reached Joeys house. Shut my door and locked the car and knocked on their door, until Joey opened it he was shirtless in his shorts but I didn't care I hugged him, I could tell he was confused but I just hugged him "What's up Jade?" "I'm sorry, I'm so so so stupid Joey, I miss you I can't do anything without you, your on my mind 24/7 I'm just so sorry!" I said sobbing into his shoulder "Shhhhh calm down J" he said soothingly into my ear "Cmon lets go inside" he said pulling me into the house we sat down on their couch and I had my head in my hands "You couldn't have put a proper top on?" He laughed then I looked down and realised I was still in my tank top "You couldn't have PUT a top ON?" I laughed Then we both just started laughing "I'm sorry J" He said "I'm sorry too jojo" "Do you wanna go up to my room to borrow a hoodie and I will put a top on because it's really hard to concentrate with you like that" he laughed again "Jojo you have a girlfriend you shouldn't be saying things like that!" "Oooooh about that well I broke up with her" he said scratching the back of his neck "What why? She was your dream girl!" "Well I realised that she wasn't the one and my dream girl is sat in front of me" he started to blush A LOT "Erm Joey..." did he just say that he likes me?! "I like you too... ok let's go upstairs now" I said getting up
Joey gave me a grey champion hoodie and he just put a white T-shirt on. I took a mirror selfie and decided to post it on Instagram

After I read Joeys comment I lifted my head from my phone screen and smiled at him. "So what do you wanna do?" He asked coming closer and hugging me "Do you wanna watch stranger things downstairs?" "With popcorn?" He said giving me the puppy dog eyes, Joey has loved the popcorn I make for him whenever we watch a movie. Idk why? "You go put the episode on whilst I go make the popcorn" "Okkkayyyy!" He said getting up off his bed As I was about to walk down the stairs he stopped in front of me and said "Get on my back" "What?" I asked "Get on my back" he repeated "Ok then" I climbed up on his back his hands were holding up my legs and I wrapped my arms around his neck loosely. "Damn boi you smell nice! Is it a new cologne?" I asked "Yup it is indeed!" He said whilst trying not to fall down the stairs, he walked into the kitchen and turned around to place me on the counter. He turned around he was stood in between my legs, my arms were still around his neck, we were both staring at each other in the eyes like we were signalling that we love each other. Our lips were only inches away, I wanted to kiss him so bad but I knew that if we did fall for each other that it could cause problems and I still havent talked to Jacob yet so I leaned in and hugged him instead.
JOEYS POV: I was about to kiss Jade but she rejected me! What was wrong did I smell? Does she not like me? Am I disgusting to her? What?! Idk why didn't she just kiss me!? I feel so stupid! I should've know that I wasn't good enough for her, I lightly pushed her off me and went and sat down in the mini cinema room to put on the episode.
After a while she walked in with a big bag of her special popcorn, before she placed it down I opened up our sofa bed so that we could lie down. I hadn't once made eye contact with her, it was so awkward. We both just lay down, she put her head on my chest and the popcorn in between our bodies. Just her touch was making me want her even more, I craved her, all of her.
About half way into the first episode I couldn't take it anymore I couldn't stand to be in the same room with the girl that I'm madly in love with and have been for 15 years of my life and see that she doesn't like me back! So I just got up and walked out "Joey!" She called after me "Where are you going?!" She asked I just ignored her, I knew I was making a bad decision but I just couldn't handle the pain. A few minutes later Soph and my mum came home from shopping.
JADES POV: Ugh what is wrong with this boy? Is it because the popcorn was bad or that I didn't kiss him? As I was getting up to leave Jen and Soph came through the door with some shopping bags, Soph put the bags down and came to hug me "Heyyyy J where have you been I barely see you anymore?" She asked "Oh me and Joey weren't on good terms but we have made amends" "That's good, I missed seeing you around here Jade" I heard Jen say in the back "Thanks" I said letting go of Soph "So how is your mother?" Jen asked "She's still a bit upset, I still hear her cry herself to sleep at night calling out my dads name, blaming herself. And Bella is barely home she can't handle mum or she gets too depressed and I guess that I'm kinda left in the middle" I said almost tearing up but keeping strong As I looked up I saw Joey at the top of the stairs as if he could feel my pain, I looked away and Jen said "Honey I'm so sorry to hear that you know our house is always welcome for you to come to whenever you need us" "Thank you, well I probably should start heading home before it gets too late" "Jade do you wanna hang out with me, Joey, Zach, Aaron, Lexi and Zachs friend called Jacob?" Soph asked "Yeah sure when?" "Tomorrow at 12 me and Joey will come pick you up and we will meet everyone at the park" "Ok, well I will see you then bye Soph" "Bye J!"
And I walked home got into bed and went to sleep...
