A/N: My apologies for not updating for a while. Something happened and I was little caught up in it. And I just got a puppy so sleep is something I rarely find let alone time for anything else but I will go back to updating every 2 or 3 days from now on hopefully. Fingers crossed.

Happy reading!

Delta's POV:

Surely I'm seeing things. There was so much blood. He didn't have a pulse. It can't be Ben.  Yet here he was lying on the bed in front of me. With so many machines plugged to him.

I walk right back out of the room. I felt so dizzy, I heard a nurse call out to ask if I was okay.

I nod, "I just need some fresh air. Can you change the IV bag?" I don't wait for his response and hand him the bag. I start walking away. How is that possible. How is he here? I need to check his details.

I open the details of the patient in room 40 on the computer. He was admitted the night that he supposedly died. Ben was said to be in a coma right now. His name though was recorded as John Doe.

Why? I need to check who his is next to kin contact. My hands start to curl up into a fist.

Next of Kin: Johnathan Brown.

Contact Number: +614********

I haven't felt this angry since I dealt with Kate Willis. He didn't think I needed to know this? Even when I blamed myself for his death?

Now it makes sense why he was being weird, he didn't want me finding out about Ben.

He better have a damn good explanation for this.

I text him to come pick me up.

The ride back was tense to say the least. Not a word was uttered the whole way back.

I'm not sure if I want to hear the explanation he's going to give me. I know it has to be a reasonable one. I mean there is a reason I trust him and his judgement so much. To be honest though I don't want to hear the explanation, I just want to be mad. I haven't been able to get angry and Johnathan might have to endure my burst of anger.

He stops the car and we just sit there in silence. He better start speaking soon.

"You know." He didn't pose that as a question it was more a statement.

He sighs loudly.

"When I got there that night, you were just staring off in the distance most of the time. Since Mr. Moretti was with you I went to the paramedics. They told me that his pulse was barely there and it was get more faint by the second." He ran both his hands up and down his face. He was probably struggling remembering the night too. They were pretty close after all. Almost like a father and son relationship.

"I knew it was that stalker's doing so I told them to treat him under a different name and he was to be placed in intensive unit with only a limited people knowing. This is a police case so he is under witness protection right now." Um well what a good job they were doing. I just went in and that means anyone could have done the same.

"I know what you're thinking and I agree they didn't do a good job. He is being moved to your brother's hospital right now. People there are a lot likely to be trusted since you keep their security tight." That was true Jasmine had persuaded me; who was probably persuaded by my brother; to take on the project.

"Ben was treated at the hospital and even though they managed to stitch him up, he had lost a lot of blood when he was stabbed. The knife burst a blood vessel and it interrupted the blood flow to the brain which resulted to him being in a coma."
