Chapter 10

Liy understood why Four acted the way he did before, trying to show he was happy, but clearly he wasn't... He blamed himself for what his father did, but it wasn't his fault. Liy watched Four walk into the clearing, walking past the confused contestants. Liy got up, walking out into the clearing and heard gasps. "No. I'm not going to kill you all..." Liy said, sighing. "Look, I'm sorry about what happened while I was still a running contestant of BFB..." Liy apologized, looking at her former team, Death P.A.C.T.

"No need to apologize, Liy. I was raged when I was eliminated also. Even though I seem calm and collected, you can never tell what's going on in someone's head..." Tree said. "It's true..." Pen chimed in. "Just like Four..." Liy whispered to herself. "Huh...?" Pen looked at the light switch, confused. "I talked with Four for awhile... His mindset seemed to be screwed-up at a young age..." Liy said, a bit louder than a whisper. "Wait, what?!" Tree asked, surprised that the host opened up to someone. "He's been blaming himself for so many things that weren't his fault... And I think when X got injured, it hurt him more..." Liy explained. "That explains his actions..." Tree muttered. Liy looked up at Tree. "What did he do...?" She asked, confused. 'Four seemed fine in EXIT... Probably since that's his escape... It is his own mind...' Liy thought.

"He canceled BFB for awhile. And he's been getting more distant. Haven't you notice how he's been showing up in EXIT more often...?" Tree pointed out. "That is true... He's been more and more distant with reality, probably caught up in his own thoughts..." Liy muttered.

"Tree!" The members of Death P.A.C.T. could hear Bush running towards the team. All the team members could tell that Bush liked Tree, but Tree is a blind fucker, and doesn't even know. But there are hints of jealousy from Pen when Bush is around Tree. It's the battle of the gays, as Pillow likes to call it. Liy quietly chuckled at her thoughts, looking at the two happy plants. "At least we don't have a depressed Liy anymore." Someone behind Liy said. "Hey!" Liy yelled. She turned around to see Remote. "Oh, hey Remote." Liy said.

Four looked at X. It's been awhile since the whole hospital incident. "Hey, X...?" Four asked, looking down at the small yellow letter. "Hm...?" X hummed in response. "I... I love you." Four said. There was a pause, the two blushing. "I love you too, Four..." X finally said, hugging Four.

A/N: Ten chapter sequel anyone? Wanna know what happens after this? Well if y'all want a sequel, it'll defiantly have to wait, since I have many other fics lined up. Anyways, want some filler on what happened during the timeskip? Here: Word got out about Four and many of the contestants helped Four through his hard time, BFB continued on once X came back but the eliminated contestants got to stay and watch instead of going to EXIT, since Four wants to forget the past and spend time in the present and he looks forward to a future with X.
