Chapter 10 : Awake!

||Nami's POV||

I opened my eyes slowly and all I can see is white. Am I at the hospital?

"Ohh. Thank God, you're safe. Our daughter is safe. Our daughter is awake," said my mum while carressing my face gently. My dad just nods, relieved while hugging my mum. My parents seem worried about me but I'm still confused on what happened.

Then, my brother came into the room with Jisung sunbae. He hurriedly hugs me and caressing my cheeks.

"Yah! Park Nami! You nearly make us dead worried, you know? Thank you for awake." he said worryingly.

I wanted to ask what happened but my voice is barely come out from my mouth due to the shock. My mum told me to rest while she and my dad want to see the doctor. My brother is looking out for me while Jisung sunbae is replacing the new flower in the vase beside me. It seems that I must been long here when I saw the new flower.

*Time Skips. At the night*
||3rd POV||

"Thank God.. You are safe, Nami-yah," said someone who is outside of the room hospital, looking at Nami by the window. He wanted to come in but he'd afraid that he will hurt you.

*Time Skips. After the recovery*
||Nami's POV||

Turns out, I was in the hospital for 3 days. My parents told me that I was passed out due to heat stroke. I didn't believe it at first but I have to because my parents told me. They won't lie to me, right?

*Time Skips. At the school*
||Nami's POV||

I'm so excited to meet my besties today. Ughhh I miss them so much 😆 I see them at the hallway so I sneakily run to them and hug them both tightly. They are shocked and they pulled away then asked me whether I'm fine or not. I just laughed and told them that I'm fine. When I asked them why, they avoid my eyes and started changing the topic. Hmm.. strange.

When I sit on my seat, I look beside me and Minhyun seems absent. Is he sick? Haish, this fox always made me worry about him. Then, Mr. Hwang came in and checks our attendance. Everyone is here.. except him. I wonder why..

*Time Skips. During recess*

We go to the cafeteria together and I see Seongwoo alone. He joined us after being invited by Luna. While enjoying the food, I asked him whereabouts Minhyun but he's avoiding my eyes and seems anxious. He excused himself, telling us that he forgot something in his class.

When I asked Luna and Ayli what's wrong with Seongwoo, they seem hesitant to answer. I must say that they are weird recently.

*Time Skips. After a week*

It's been a week that Minhyun didn't come to school and my instinct tells me that something is wrong. And my family suddenly became overprotective by putting a tracker on my wrist watch and my bag. When I asked why, they said it's for my safety.

Luna, Ayli and Seongwoo also been suspicious as they always accompany me after school to walk me home. Jisung sunbae also always look out for me at the school. All of this is really nuts when I think of it.

It was Saturday morning and I just lying on my bed lazily after exhausting through the weekdays. Then, my stomach rumbling asking for food. So I go downstairs and I stop my tracks after I heard my name.

"Sweetheart, you can't just simply tell Nami what had happened," said my mum.

"But you can't leave her confused just like that. She deserves to know too. Plus, I heard that Minhyun took all the responsibility on him. I couldn't let him felt guilty forever when it's not his fault at all. And I don't want our daughter suffering being puzzling all the time," said my dad strictly.

Surprised, I continued my tracks and went to my parents. They seem shocked and my mum hurriedly hugging me while telling me that she's sorry. Then, my dad asked me to take a seat and hear what he's gonna say.
