That night, Baekhyun didn't sleep at all. He spent most of it sitting on the balcony, thinking. Baekhyun also cried a few more tears and only had a small nap for around half an hour. Chanyeol wasn't much different. He tried to sleep in their bed but hated sleeping without him. At about 2am he went out for a long walk and ended up on the beach, sitting on the sand.

After what felt like days, the sun began to rise and the two were still apart. Chanyeol watched the sun rise above the sea and wished that Baekhyun could have been there with him.

For the flight, they both slept like babies, considering they were exhausted. Sehun knew Chanyeol had told Baekhyun since they weren't as cuddly and loving as usual. Honestly, they had hardly said a word to each other since Baekhyun left for a shower and Sehun knew it would be a very long time before they did speak.

"When are you going to china?" Baekhyun asks LuHan as the two of them sit eating lunch alone as the others are out at the arcade.

LuHan looks up from his plate. "Huh? Well, once college is over. Why?"

Baekhyun sighs. "I want to come with you. I need a new start." He says, no emotion in his voice. He plays with the food on his plate, hardly eating anything.

"What about Chanyeol? You'll be far away from him and -" He stops mid sentence seeing Baekhyun's shoulders begin to shake. "Oh my god Baek..." He coos. LuHan scrambles up from his chair and embraces Baekhyun in a tight hug. "Come on..." He says, rubbing Baekhyun's back.

Baekhyun continues to cry, not knowing how to stop.

"I haven't seen you cry like this since the tenth anniversary of your parents dying when you were fifteen. Is it Yeol?" LuHan says, still not letting go of Baekhyun. He feels him nod. "Did he dump you?"

Baekhyun shakes his head. He pulls out of LuHan embrace and wipes the tears from his cheek with his sweater sleeve. "Not yet..." He takes a few deep breaths to compose himself.

"What do you mean not yet? Has he planned to dump you this entire time? I swear I will kill him."

"He didn't plan this...he didn't plan any of this...neither of us did..." Baekhyun explains. LuHan looks at him with confusion. "We have to break up the day before he debuts due to his dating contract."

LuHan sighs sadly. "I'm so sorry Baek...I wish there was something I could do. When did you find out?"

"The last day in Hawaii so about three months ago. We've tried doing everything we wanted to do but it just doesn't feel the same anymore. He's been so busy at SM that we've hardly spent any time together." Baekhyun says. "I just want him back..." He tries so hard to hold back anymore tears.

LuHan pulls out a chair and sits on it next to Baekhyun. "I think I would be the same if it were Sehun. I honestly can't imagine what you're going through...I really can't..."

It was true. Chanyeol promised to make their last two years of college amazing but due to practice taking up most of his time, Baekhyun was pushed to the back.

They were growing apart.

Baekhyun didn't have the same feeling for Chanyeol anymore and he could never admit that. Yes he loves Chanyeol but not as much as in the beginning. He once told Chanyeol that if he is given a huge opportunity to go for it. But he never thought it would mean losing the love of his life over it.

Today though, two months into their second year, Chanyeol is given the news that he's to debut early. In less that two months he'll be on the stage performing his solo song "Light." Of course it had to be a love song. A soothing love song about falling in love with a girl who lights up any room with her smile, voice and looks. A type of song that Chanyeol knew he would have to sing one day.
