Quarrel

 

“Uhh… What time is it?” Rhian questioned sleepily

 

Rhian looked over to his nightstand and saw that it was 4:59AM.

 

Sigh

“Everyone’s still asleep.” I stated

 

Rhian then looked over to Zephyr’s side and saw that he was sleeping with his entire body straightened out. His pillows and his sheets were all aligned.

 

“Wow, even in his sleep Zephyr tries to be proper.” Rhian said.

 

Rhian looked at the top bunk where Kraf was sleeping. Kraf had his bed all messy with the sheets all tangled, and he was groping one of his pillows while mumbling to himself in his sleep.

Suddenly, 5:00AM appeared on the clock, and the very sharp and loud alarm echoed in a strange tone throughout the cabin. The girls of the squad screamed loudly due to the sudden loud noise.

 

Kraf awoke in a shocked & confused state, fell off of the top bunk, and laid on the floor in an awkward position.

 

“ARGH! Whose alarm is that!?” Kraf yelled while covering his ears

 

“I don’t know! It just started ringing when it hit 5AM!” Rhian yelled in response while also covering my ears

 

Suddenly, Commander June barged in, with a switch in her hand. She pressed it, and the loud alarm finally stopped.

 

“Good morning maggots!” Commander June stated

 

“Was that alarm set up by you ma’am?” Rhian asked

 

“That’s right maggot! All platoons will be having an emergency meeting today near the Chow Hall!” Commander June responded

 

“But it’s 5 o’clock in the morning!” Kraf whined

 

“Do you have a problem with this? Because I could easily make this squad wake up at 3AM on the dot.” Commander June stated
