Orientation
“Welcome welcome! Please make yourselves comfortable. Orientation will begin soon. While waiting, please mingle with your newfound fellow classmates and help yourselves to the many treats we have located throughout the room.” said the woman with a clipboard.
“So, this is the day where it all begins. The day where I arrive at A.R.T.S High. My first step in becoming a Vanguard. To be able to fight Varmits.”

“To be strong enough to protect…”

“But before any of that something more important should be handled first.”
*Gurgle
“Where on earth can I find something to eat!” Rhian screamed loudly.
“Awww man it feels like my stomach is trying to fight me, and my stomach is winning!”
Suddenly an amazing aroma reached Rhian. With that he quickly made a mad dash in search of any food he could find, swiftly weaving to and fro between various other hopeful Vanguards while loudly shouting “FOOD!” only to find myself suddenly bumping into another participant and falling on the floor. Hard...
Man did it hurt.
“Ouch!” Rhian said painfully as he stood to his feet.
“Im sorry about that, I didn’t mean to bump into you I was jus-” Rhian said
He then turned around to Rhian suddenly and yelled.
“Alright that’s what I like to see, someone that’s just as excited as me and will go as far as hitting a complete stranger with full force. I like it. I, myself was trying to contain my excitement, but now I just can’t. I just gotta let it fly.” the excited teenager spoke
Rhian couldn’t distinguish if this guy was serious or not but one thing he knew for sure, was that this guy was crazy. The guy then started to slowly raise his fist and then quickly released it. It came to Rhian so fast he barely had any time to dodge it.
BAM
He hit Rhian square in the shoulder, knocking him back down. He would have hit Rhian in the face if he hadn't moved in time.
“Hey! What’s your name?” the boy said calmly while extending his hand to help Rhian up.
Rhian hesitantly replied.
