Abrey's first doctor visit

Annabella's pov

Nessie and I were both relaxing in the living room of the cottage. We both were happy school was closed for the day only the staff had to go. We had to met up with Tanya and Abrey at 12 o'clock at Mom's office for Abrey's first doctor visit. Abrey is 1 week old today and we didn't get to see Abrey yesterday so Ness was missing her like crazy. Ness has a much closer relationship to Abrey then I do. Ness loves babies to death so it comes natural to her. I don't really have that with babies. I like kids but not like Ness. It's a little weird but that's the only real big difference between me and Ness. Ness spent 2 days in the hospital with Tanya and Abrey. Ness was the person to find out Abrey had a heart murmur. Vampire hearing comes in handy sometimes. Lucky the doctors said it wasn't anything serious. Ness goes to see Abrey everyday and she will spends hours at Jessica's house especially if Mike is working. I stop by but I don't stay as long as Ness. She loves that little girl to death. I think a lot of it has to do with her saving Abrey's life. I know that had a real effect on Ness. Ness told me it was more scary then what Jake did to her or Kevin. She was terrified of Abrey being stillborn. I guess that kind of stayed with her.

Nessie's cellphone started to ring. She picked up the cellphone from the table. We both knew it was Tanya by the ring tone. "Hey" Ness answered her cellphone. "Hey are you and Annie still coming to the appointment" Tanya asked. "Yes we are, I miss my girl" Ness answered. "Good because Mike got called into work and I told Jessica you wouldn't mind driving us" Tanya replied. "I'll be there soon" Ness replied. "Bye" Tanya replied laughing. "Bye" Ness replied then ended the call.

Ness put the cellphone down on the table then sat back. "Are you going to drive with me" Ness asked. "No Lyssie is driving with me, we'll meet you there" I answered. "Okay, I'm going to go now" Ness replied getting up. "There still over a hour before you need to pick them up" I replied. "I know but I want to spend time with Abrey" Ness replied picking up her cellphone and keys. "Okay see you there" I replied.

I laid on the couch watching a movie. Adam and Liam were at the main house playing video games with Corey and Uncle Emmett. I must have dozed off because Alyssa woke me up. "It's time to go sleepy head" Alyssa said looking down at me. "I'm up" I replied sitting up. I didn't even feel sleepy at all but Liam did keep me up last night. I grabbed my keys and cellphone off the table before I got up. Alyssa already had my coat and purse in her hands. "It's cold out for the humans or have humans in your case" Alyssa teased tossing me my coat. "Ha ha ha" I replied walking towards the door. Alyssa laughed following behind me. We ran to the main house at vampire speed.

"Liam" I called walking in the main house. "Corey" Alyssa called. "Coming" they called together. Corey ran to us first. "We're leaving, I'll text you when we get to the hospital" Alyssa said hugging Corey. Liam ran in and kissed me. "Let me know when your there and keep your shield up" Liam told me. "Will do have fun" I replied with a smile. Liam kissed me again then me and Alyssa walked out the house together. "Keep your shield up" Adam called from the front door as we got in my car. "I will" I called starting my beautiful car. I put my shield over the car then back out of the driveway. I raced down the road, I had time to waste but I loved the speed. I heard the siren behind me. They must have been hiding somewhere because I didn't see a cop car anywhere before I heard the siren.

I pulled over to the side of the road. Grandpa Charlie and Tyler got out off of the car. Grandpa didn't look happy to see me. I rolled down the windows as Grandpa and Tyler walked towards the car and dropped my shield. "Hi Grandpa" I said in the sweetest voice I had. I stuck my head out the window and gave him a kiss. "Don't try to butter me up" Grandpa snapped. "Sorry" I replied looking at him. "Annabella Marie Cullen haven't I tell you not to speed" Grandpa asked angry looking at me. "Yes Grandpa" I answered looking at him with a pout. "Where do you have to be that your driving so fast " Grandpa asked still angry. My charms weren't working on Grandpa he was really upset with me. "We are going to the hospital" I answered. "Are you okay" Grandpa quickly replied looking me up and down. "I'm fine, it's Abrey's first doctors appointment" I explained.
