I'm always here

Chapter Four

- DEMI'S POV - Joe and I arrived at the dinner car and met up with his parents and brothers. "Hey guys." I sat next to nick in the booth and joe came next to me. "hey nick." I smiled at him. Nick and I have been good friends for as long as I remember. I met him before Joe. We instantly became friends. We both loved music so we obviously hit it off. I could talk to him for hours and he'd listen to every word i say. I sometimes even go to him if Joe and I get I'm a fight, which is rare. He's one of my greatest guy friends. And he also happens to be dating my best friend, Selena. she was going to come with us but she was visiting her Dad in France. Ever since her parents got divorced she's wanted to visit her dad there. Plus she wanted an excuse to go to Paris.

When we were in the booth I noticed that man was in the booth across from us. But now that he was up close I realized he wasn't a man. He was probably my age. He kept staring over at me. My immediate instinct was to tell Joe but I knew he would overreact. So I just reached for his hand again and made sure i was close to him. I avoided eye contact with him the whole dinner because I knew joe would be able to tell something was wrong if i kept staring at the weirdo. So I just ignored it. I know joe will keep me safe. Later that night joe and were in our room when I saw the boy walk by our room. He didn't look in, thank goodness, but he did walk by a few times. "joe?" "mmm." he was half asleep. "baby? Wake up." I nudged him. I heard him sigh. "what, babe?" "can you close the curtain?" I said as I pointed to the door. He mumbled something as he got up. He doesn't really like it when I wake him up. Which any normal human being can relate to. "thanks" "mmhmm." he laid back in bed and pulled me close to him. I laid there cuddled up to him with my head on his chest and I slowly fell asleep
