Friday:
Tomorrow night is the party Ellie and I were invited to a few days ago. Ellie has gone to plenty parties before, but never with me.
I've never been to a party. Simply because I'm boring.
If i'm honest, i'm really nervous. I know parties aren't necessarily the thing you spend days worrying about but when it comes to my weird self, trust me it is..
I had no idea what I was going to wear, what I was going to do there, who I was going to talk to?!
Why do I worry about these things? This isn't who I am. I'm not a worrier.
Not the new me anyway.
Ellie and I planned to go to town for some coffee later on. And by later on I mean in like ten seconds but whatever she can wait..!
I decided to give Teddy a call, just a quick one.
I whip out my phone once again, and dial up his number.
He picks up.
"Hey Zoë!!"
"Hey Teddy! What's up?"
"Nothing much, just unpacking!"
"How's your new college?"
"It's the best thing that's ever happened to me,"
"That's so good to hear!"
"Yes!! Anyways, how are you? Any news?"
"Well.. yes actually! So remember how i'm 'boring'?"
"Ugh you're not but, go on!!"
"I got invited to a party with Ellie tomorrow, just wanted to know if you have any advice?"
"Oh man, never thought this day would come so quickly! Okay.. If you're drinking, please, and I mean this when I say it, PLEASE, be careful and don't drink too much. I know it can be tempting but it's so not worth it the next day. Also, don't follow any guys home, they're all weird..."
"That it?"
"Yep.. Oh and also, have fun!"
"Hehe, thanks Teddy. I miss you already!!"
"I miss you too! Give me a call Sunday and tell me all about the party!"
"Of course! Love you,"
"Love you too, byeeee!"
"Byee,"—
I've just met up with Ellie and we're in the middle of town just wandering around when suddenly I spotted a beautiful, gold glitter low cut top that really caught my attention.
"WAIT!!" I said, drastically pulling Ellie closer to the shop's window to look at it closer on the mannequin.
"Wow.. that's beautiful! You HAVE to get it Zoë. It's so out of your comfort zone.. perfect for tomorrow night!"
She was right, it was out of my comfort zone. But that strangely made me want it more.
I smiled, "I'm going to get it,"
I'm pleased that I bought that top, I feel like it's what I want my style to be. But I just wouldn't have the confidence to be myself or purchase it without Ellie.

Saturday:Today was the day of my first party! Ellie and I planned to get ready at hers.
We both did our makeup next to each other, but we practically ended up doing each other's from fixing it so much.
I'm not the best at makeup, but oh well, I try!
I never wore this much makeup before.
I straightened my dark hair. I quickly got into my gold top that I was still obsessing over!
After about three hours of getting ready and taking pictures, me and Ellie were both finally ready to leave. And let me tell you,
I was nervous.
The taxi we ordered pulled up outside Ellie's door. We both hopped in and told him our destination.
My stomach went weird when we pulled up.
