You were woken up by the annoying sound of your alarm and the bright sun shining through your windows. You groaned an rolled onto the floor. You laid there on the floor for a second before finally getting up. You did have school.
You walked into the bathroom and brushed your teeth and combed your hair. You went over to your closet and pulled out the outfit Dahyun had picked for you. You placed the red beret on and smiled. You didn't know if this whole dark colors thing would become a normal thing but it was worth a shot. You sprayed a little perfume and touched on some red lip tint. You pulled your hair into two pigtails and exited the bathroom.
You put your phone, earbuds, journal, and notebooks on your bag and headed downstairs. You grabbed a chocolate muffin and wrapped it in a napkin. You slipped on some black platform sandals and headed out.

You had finally finished your first period and headed in the direction of the library. You walked down the familiar hallway when something caught your eye. It was the staircase to the roof. Switching directions you headed to the stairs. You climbed up and opened the door. You walked out onto the roof a cool breeze hitting you. You smiled at the view and looked over to the pretty greenhouse. You punched in the combination the principal gave you and the lock opened. You pushed opened the gate and stepped in.

You ran your hand over the table and rubbed the dust off your fingers. You made a reminder to comeback and clean the place up. It was too pretty to be un kept. You wandered over to the other side away from the center and saw a big bunch of white roses. You admired the roses and felt the soft petals between your fingertips. Everything about this place seemed to calm you. You felt more relaxed there than anywhere you had ever been. You walked back to the middle and exited. You couldn't write in there yet due to how gross it was. But you still decided to stay on the roof.
You walked over to the balcony edge and leaned on the railing. You looked out over the field. You could see the kids in gym class outside, some people eating lunch, others were trying to sneak out. You just relaxed, feeling the soft breeze against your cheeks. You didn't even hear the door creak open signaling someone had just walked up. You heard the sound of someone's footsteps and turned around to see

The dimpled boy gave you a wave before walking over to the railing. You scooted over and made room for him and he leaned on it with you. It stayed silent for a while before speaking up
"So you're the new girl huh?"
You nodded your head silently and he turned to you.
