About a week had passed since that guy saved you in near the store. You didn't tell Dahyun about it, not wanting to make her worry about you more than she already does, and you only told Chaeyoung that you were being safe with Dahyun and nothing had happened.

Dahyun had a cheer practice during her free period and she had asked you to come watch. You finished packing up a few things from your last class, you put your white bag and journal in your locker and slid your phone in your back pocket.
You wandered down to the gym and opened the doors revealing the basketball court. You stepped in and took a seat on one of the middle row bleachers. You looked around for Dahyun and you spotted her waving enthusiastically at you from across the other side of the gym. You smiled at waved back at her. She jogged over to you and sat down next to you.
"Hey Poppy-ah"
"Hey Dahyunnie"
"The basketball team also has practice so you'll get to see who's on the team."
You nodded and smiled.
"Some of them are annoying jerks but some of them are just precious sweet hearts so be careful."
You rolled your eyes and nudged her side, she stood up and made her way back over to the cheer squad and started stretching.
About ten minutes passed and the boys locker room door opened and 12 guys came running out. You noticed a familiar face and smiled at him. Kevin grinned back at you and sent you a small wave. You looked through the other faces and saw Chan, which honestly didn't surprise you. That guy with the braces who was with Kevin on your first day, Jeongin? Yeah Jeongin. You couldn't really recognize anyone else but you noticed a a cute guy with freckles, a guy that lowkey looked like Jimin from BTS but with purple hair. Other than that no one else really stood out to you.
You turned your attention to Dahyun and the other Cheerleaders and you noticed Chaeyoung among them. A girl with red hair had a really pretty smile and she noticed you and waved. Dahyun noticed and told her your name and said that you were the new girl. The red haired girl smiled once more and waved at you. You shyly waved back and a few other girls greeted you too.
At least they were nice and not like girls in high school movies. You continued to watch a little bit before turning your attention to the basket ball players. You saw the coach standing off to the side and you noticed he looked fairly young, like college level young. He had cat eyes and was shorter, but his voice was deep and authoritative. You watched some more. Kevin was a decent player among with that small kid Jeongin.
