Sophie's POV
A week later, I was finally released from the hospital. Hallelujah!! I stayed with my dad, but my mom is here all the time, and sometimes she stays the night. My mom's presence pissed Monica off to the max, so I make sure my mom stays a lot. Right now she's not here, she went to get some things from her house.
I was laying in bed watching TV when I decided That I wanted to try to walk on my own. I slowly sat up and sat on the edge of my bed, about to get up. I pushed myself off of the bed and stood up. I took half a step. Then I fell. Hard.
Me: "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! DADDY, MONICA! HELP ME!!!!!"
It hurt sooooo bad. Next time I'm definitely not gonna try that. Positive.
I had been laying on the floor for about 5 minutes now, even though it seemed like 30. I tried calling for help again by letting out a ear piercing scream.
Roc: runs in the room, shirtless and in boxers "Sophie! What happened!"
He carried me back into bed and put my blankets back over me.
Me: "I tried walking on my own. Bad idea"
Roc: sits on edge of the bed "Kid, don't overwork yourself. If you need anything, all you had to do was call me."
Me: "I just had the urge to move. And I was laying there for 5 minutes before you came. I fell pretty hard and my leg hurts"
Roc: "i'll go get you some Ice. Please stay in bed, for me?"
Me: "if it was anyone else, I wouldn't, but just cause its you"
He smiled and walked out the room, closing the door behind him. I heard his loud feet walk downstairs.
I rubbed my stomach. Sorry baby, didn't mean to scare you like that.
My phone started ringing and it was Chachi.
Me: "Hellooooo."
Chachi: "Holaaaaaa!"
Me: "wassup Chi-Chi?"
Chachi: "just checking up on you. How'd everything?"
Me: "Well I tried walking on my own and fell."
Chachi: "oh dios mío! What were you thinking Soph?"
Me: "I wasn't."
Chachi: "well be careful mi Amor, don't want to hurt Sophie Jr."
Me: "of course, the female Junior, how nice"
I laughed a little bit, Chachi always had me laughing.
Chachi: "Jayden been over yet?"
Me: "no I won't let him, I'm making him take a break from me for at least a day."
Chachi: "You broke up with him for a day?!"
This girl..
Me: "NOOO! I just told him to stay away so he could get some rest. He's been there for me too much and I feel bad for it"
Just then Monica walked in my room with an ice pack.
Me: "Chachi lemme call you back ok?"
Chachi: "hablar con usted más adelante chica. Talk to you later girl. kisses. despedida. Goodbye!"
She hung up. I'm glad that girl translates herself because I wouldn't know a thing she would say to me.
Me: "Hey."
Monica: "here" throws Ice pack on the bed.
Me: "it would've been sooo much better if you didn't throw it, but take it as I get it i guess"
