Stiles
He was trying his best to stick to his words. He wanted things with Derek to return to normal, but he couldn't shake the anger towards him no matter how many times he told himself he was over the whole situation. Meeting Aiden made things slightly better, but Stiles was still unsure of Aiden's intentions. He was the brother of the guy Derek cheated with, and even though he claimed he wasn't on Ethan's side, he could have been lying. The point to Stiles' mixed emotions was just that his head was spinning and he was stressed out beyond belief. The day before was the first time he'd been intimate with Derek since he cheated and he wasn't sure how he felt about that either.
"You're completely ignoring me," Scott said, smacking Stiles on the back of his head. "Stiles, you agreed to help me with this calc homework, not sit and stare into the distance as I have a meltdown." He tapped his pencil against the table impatiently as Stiles sighed and laid his head down, followed by a groan. "Dude, what the hell is with you? Are you and Derek having more problems? Did you sleep with Danny again? What is it?"
Stiles scoffed, narrowing his eyes at his best friend. "No, it's nothing. I don't want to talk about it." That was a lie, because he really wanted to talk about it, but not with Scott. "It's Saturday, Scott. Can we finish your calc homework tomorrow? I need to go see someone."
Scott sighed, closing his book. "Alright, man. But I'm telling you, it's fine if you wanna talk to me about Derek. I may be holding a grudge against him, but you're my best friend, and I'll listen without being biased." He had good intentions, but Stiles still wasn't comfortable talking about it with him. Maybe about certain things, but not this particular bit. "I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah, of course," Stiles answered, walking with Scott to the door. "Just call before you come over." Scott nodded in agreement and left quickly, probably in a hurry to get to Isaac's.
As soon as he was gone, Stiles grabbed his keys and headed over to Lydia's. He didn't bother calling first, so he hoped she was home. He was glad he knocked though. She answered, looking a little disheveled as she straightened her shirt. "Stiles, now's kind of a bad time," she said, leaning against the door frame.
Stiles bit the inside of his cheek and nodded, taking a step back. He didn't say anything, mostly because there was nothing to say. He wanted someone to talk to and he couldn't talk to Derek, obviously. He wasn't comfortable talking to Scott about it. And Lydia, the one person he felt he could talk to was too busy fucking the twin brother of the guy Derek cheated with. Stiles' stress levels were only growing at this point. "Sorry," he finally mumbled, turning to go back to his car. Lydia called after him, but he didn't want to interrupt her time with Aiden, so he got in his car and drove off.
For awhile, he wasn't sure where to go. He circled around Scott's block, then around Danny's, then back to his house, but his dad was home. Eventually, for some reason, he ended up outside Jackson's house. He couldn't work up the courage to knock, because he felt so stupid for even being there, so he was standing there on Jackson's porch like an idiot. Jackson opened the door after awhile, probably noticing him through the window. "How long have you been out here?" Jackson demanded, dragging him inside by the sleeve of his shirt.
"Not long," Stiles lied, following Jackson to his room. Jackson shut the door behind them, gesturing for Stiles to sit on the bed. "I'm sorry I just showed up. I wanted someone to talk to. . ."
