If Hiccup Killed The Nightfury (HTTYD FanFic)

Part 7: Chapters 19-21

CHAPTER 19:

I didn't notice how close we were to the dragon egg until we realised we saw the mother dragon right in front of us.

Me being the stupid and unpredictable one, decided to run under the dragons legs and grabbed the egg.

"HICCUP! What are you doing?" Yelled Fishlegs.

He started the run the opposite direction as the dragon started chasing him.

The egg was small enough to fit in my bag.

Now I needed to collect three more ingredients, and save Fishlegs.

I grabbed another egg and yelled at the dragon "Hey, looking for this?" I held up the egg and rolled it down a hill. The dragon raced after it, running down the hill until eventually the dragon could not be seen.

"Thanks Hiccup." Smiled Fishlegs.

It wasn't long until a bird perched on the tree above us.

"Oh great, we have a bird above us but now we need to wait for it to poop." I said to Fishlegs sarcastically.

The bird flew down and landed on the ground in front if us.

Fishlegs smile grew wider. Don't know why but maybe there might be a reason for it.

"I have an idea." Fishlegs said.

Okay it must be a good idea if he had a smile that wide.

I curiously looked at him. "And what would that be?"

"Instead of waiting for it to poop, why don't we just catch the bird!?"

CHAPTER 20:

I emptied the bag and handed it over to Fishlegs.

He grabbed it off me and jumped for the bird, holding the bag in front of him to trap the bird inside of it.

Surprisingly, it only took him one try to catch the bird.

He quickly closed the bag, making sure it couldn't get out.

"Please don't tell me you've been practicing 'bird catching'?" I sarcastically asked.

Fishlegs giggled a little. "No, I haven't. It was jut sheer luck."

He handed the bag to me and I exchanged the gift by giving him the small dragon egg and the rose, since I think we would kill the bird if we put the egg and the rose in it.

I looked at the ingredients list and read the following two ingredients I needed left:

•A Salty Stone

•The fire from a Monstrous Nightmare

"Oh you have got to be kidding me!" I screamed.

Fishlegs took the piece of paper and read it as well. "Oh..." That was all he said.

"Well let's start by getting a Salty Stone!" I stated and we both started walking to the shore...

CHAPTER 21:

We made it to the shore and grabbed a stone from the water.

That wasn't actually that hard, but I am waiting for something to pop up and make the task more harder.

But no...

There was nothing...

So now all we had to do was get-

But my thoughts were cut off when a Monstrous Nightmare came out from the forest and charged at us.

I quickly threw a bottle to Fishlegs just in case he was the one able to get the fire in there.

As soon as he caught the bottle, the dragon tackled him to the ground.

"FISHLEGS!" I yelled, but I stood there defenceless.

The dragon largely inhaled air and before I knew it, the dragon and Fishlegs disappeared in the fire around them...

(I'm sorry for the short chapter! I though it would of been good to leave the story on a cliff hanger here)
