~ Shownu's House ~
Shownu styled his hair, making it look a little messy. He put on some cologne and made sure he still looked laid back and casual and not to dressed up. He made sure the house was clean and had his work on the coffee table. He was making some tea when the door bell rang. He looked in the mirror one last time, fixing his hair, before opening the door. Kihyun was in a plain white tee, a light pink (almost white) jacket, with black skinny jeans, and converse that matched his jacket.
"Hey Kihyun. Nice outfit. You look good." The taller male smiled letting him in and closing the door. "Thanks Shownu. You always look good." He blushed realizing he said that out loud. Shownu chuckled seeing the smaller blush. "Thanks I try. Want some tea?" He smiled and nodded. Kihyun sat on the couch. He scanned the room. "Nice place." Shownu sat next to him sitting the tea on the table. "Thanks. I know it's not much. You live with Wonho right?" Kihyun rolled his eyes. "Yes and he's a pain. The gym rat leaves his protein powder and vitamins every where. At least you know how to clean." He chuckled. "I kinda have to. Every time I ask Jooheon to do it he just turns up his music." They laughed and started working.
~ 5 Minutes Later ~
"Lets take a break." Kihyun smiled laying back on the couch. Shownu chuckled. A thought popped in his head. "How are you and Kris doing?" He froze. "Why do you ask?" Shownu shrugged. "He hasn't been showing up at lunch. I was just wondering. You don't have to answer if you don't want to." He sighed looking over at Shownu. "Can I be honest with you?" He nodded. "And you won't tell anyone?" He turned to face Kihyun. "I promise." He took a deep breath. "I don't love Kris anymore. He's so cold and vile. I just can't take it anymore. The abuse is nonstop." He felt relived. He felt something wet on his cheek and realized his was crying. "I'm sorry I-" Shownu reached up and wiped his tears away. "Don't apologize. No one deserves that. I'm not a love expert but I don't think that's love." He put his hand on his. "I don't know Shownu. Without him i have nothing. Who do i go to?"
Shownu cupped Kihyun's still damp cheek inching closer. "You can come to me Kihyun. I'll never treat you the way he did." He closed the gap kissing Kihyun softly. It was better than he imagined. Fireworks went off in his mind. Kihyun was almost in tears again. He fell in love with Shownu. From long talks at night on the phone to being there to protect him from the verbal abuse. He never felt this way with Kris. He stopped. "I'm sorry Shownu I can't. I'm still with him. I can't cheat on him." He sighed. He mumbled something Kihyun didn't catch. "What?" He looked back at him "I've been meaning to tell you but I never got the chance to. Kris is.....Cheating."
Kihyun's face dropped. "How do you know?" He held on to Kihyun's hand to comfort him. "I saw him and a girl making out by the lockers. I'm sorry. I should've told you sooner." Kihyun eyes stung with hot tears. "What am i going to do?" He looked up at Shownu. "Confront him." He shook his head. "I can't do that. He'll kill me." Shownu softly smiled wiping the tears off his cheeks. "No he won't cause I'll be there." As Shownu was wiping away the tears he saw that he moved Kihyun's make up. The faded bruise appeared. Kihyun saw his expression change. He instantly knew that Shownu saw the bruise. "Kihyun. Did he hit you?" He looked down and nodded. He covered the bruise. "I know its ugly. i deserved it." Shownu moved Kihyun's hand and kissed the bruise. "You don't deserve any of this. On Monday, during lunch, we're confronting him. He shouldn't be getting away with this." Kihyun hugged Shownu, grateful that this guy who moved here just a few weeks ago was saving him. He kissed him again, erasing Kris from his mind. Shownu smiled "Let's finish and then i can take you home."
