This was our 48th day of living together...After her strange statement our lives started to look a little different. First of all she doesnt change her clothes in front of me anymore. During the day, and at night. On the other hand, she started to ask more questions.
"Why blue? I dont like cold colors" Raven says as I stand and let her draw me.
"It's the color of the sky. I like that color." I replied.
"Blue and sky blue are different. Anyway so...your least favorite food is hamburgers? Why? I thought everyone liked fast food. Is there a reason? And why do you not like talking about the army or sports? Men love those kinds of stories. Oh! And by the way, I always wanted to know, the music on your computer. Apparently its an old rock group called pink floyd? Why do you listen to old music? Do you like it? Why do you like it?" It was alot of questions from Raven. I liked it...that means she was more interested in me. Then one day..."I found it! Guess what this is?" Matthew yelled, slamming a piece of paper on my desk. There were 6 names written on the sheet of paper he handed me. Including mine too.
"What is this?" I asked.
"Your girlfriend, Wendy! Remember a few months ago when she slapped all those guys?" He replied.
Of course I remembered. It was the luckiest day of my life.
"This is the list of guys that she slapped that day! 6 guys including you!" Matthew explained.
Of course I knew about it. Everyone in the school was talking about what happend.
"Do you know what all 6 of you have in common? All of you lived alone! You were all rich people from the country...or overseas, which means you had a solitary, independent lifestyle! The other commonality, you were all loser that had nothing to do with women! Now, do you see what I'm seeing here? Dont you think this is a little bit suspicious? Matthew explained, pointing and laughing in my face.
"You missed one. All six of those people were in love with her too." I said getting up and picking up the paper. I threw the paper in his face and started to walk out.
"They all loved her...but I'm different." I said.
"What..?" He questioned confused.
"I really do love her." I responded as I closed the door.
I k ew what he was trying to say. But I dont care. I dont care about the past. Whats important is...she's with me now.
As I waited outside her job for her, she came out with a smile.
"Done already?" I asked happily.
Yeah. Lets's go. I'm hungry. Whats for dinner?" She asked. "It better not be from the convenience store again." I said laughing.
I couldnt be any happier. Until..."RAVEN!!" a voice called from behind us. I turned to look and seen a guy standing there in a suit. Raven hadnt turned to look as if she already knew who it was.
