Thomas stands next to Teresa, almost bouncing on his feet excitedly. He was about to get his birthday present from her, even though his birthday was the next day. Teresa promised that it was going to be a good one this time, that it might make Thomas cry in the end. She laughs at how eager her best friend is before grabbing an envelope from her back pocket.

"Come on, Teresa," Thomas whines impatiently.  He was still grinning widely and bouncing on his heels. "You know that I'm not patient and can't stand the suspense of these things."

"Try and calm down a little bit and I'll give it to you," Teresa teases him. "Which means stop hopping or whatever that is... Also, promise not to scream?" Thomas looks at her, stopping his movements and taking a deep breath,

"That exciting, huh," Thomas asks. "That means you did something really, really good." Teresa nods her head confidently and holds the envelope in her hands carefully. She slowly holds it out to him and hums happily, a small smile starting to snake its way onto her lips.

Thomas takes it from her hands gently, not wanting to rip the envelope or whatever was inside of it. He takes another deep breath and glances at Teresa before looking back the surprise. The boy slowly tears open the envelope and takes out what was inside.

It was two tickets to a modeling show... That was starring Newton Issacs.

Thomas gasps loudly and he couldn't help but squeal loudly like a teenage girl. He goes back to jumping up and down excitedly. Teresa laughs at him and claps her hand together. She was thrilled to see her best friend this happy. It's been a while since she's seen him be this genuinely happy.

"So, Tom," Teresa asks softly. "Now do you believe me when I said you'd be really really happy with his birthday present? You always talk about how amazing this Newton model is and so I wanted you to have the chance to see him up close." Thomas nods his head quickly and calms himself back down, taking deep breaths.

"I'm so so happy T," Thomas says excitedly. "We get to go meet the Newton Issacs! I get to see him up close! Oh my goodness I bet he looks just as godlike up close! When do we leave to go see the show?"

Teresa hums in thought for a moment before looking at Thomas. She leans over, looking at the tickets and the dates on them. Thomas furrows his eyebrows a bit, humming. He was a bit confused.

"Well, the show is about an hour away from here (they're at Thomas' house) and the show starts tomorrow night at around 7:00 PM," Teresa says. "I say we leave at around 5:30 PM so we have time to find our seats and park. That sound good Thomas?" Thomas nods excitedly in response. The brunette smiles at his best friend.

"So you wanna pick me up around that time tomorrow with your car and we'll head out," Thomas asks. "Or do you have a different idea in your head? Teresa hums softly in response.

"I'm gonna come pick you up tomorrow night," Teresa says. "Make sure you won't lose those tickets, please. I've been saving my allowance money for about a month and a half to buy us both those things. I was so excited to see Newton Issacs with you. He's a cutie." Thomas nods.

"He's more than a cutie, Teresa," Thomas says. "He's drop-dead gorgeous, godlike even. He's just... Ugh, he's amazing, Teresa. I would give anything to just get his autograph. Do you think I could get one?"

"I'm not sure if models give out autographs, Tom," Teresa says. "But I guess you can hope for one... But don't get your hopes up too high. I don't need you sad on your birthday trip with me. You're gonna be happy and that's the thing that matters the most."

Thomas grins an nods his head, still holding the tickets close to his chest. She was right, Thomas was going to be thrilled and happy on his birthday. He was finally getting to see his role model, his idol, Newton Issacs.

How was this for a starter?

I've never written anything newtmas related so hopefully, it's good enough for this. I'm super excited to start this fanfic and see how far it goes.

The chapters might get longer. That really depends I guess.

Thank you for even choosing to read this. It means the world to me, really. Have a good day/night and hopefully I can post again soon :)
