Chapter 4
After Miya and I exchanged past experiences and which one was crazier, the announcement started. "Hello students! Welcome to Silver tree Middle school!" The teacher said dramatically. A few students clapped, but besides that, the room was pretty silent. The teacher coughed from awkwardness, and continued "This school year is going to be exquisite! You will learn to be responsible, respectful and safe! That being, this announcement will be about safety, expectations and all around questions" The teacher clasped her hands together as she scanned the room, like she was looking for a kid that was happy to be at school. The teacher's smile faded, but quickly sprang back up again as she said " Let's begin, shall we?"
