"Hair, check"
" Make up, not too much. Or should I put too much . Maybe he likes women that put a lot of make up."
All those questions swarmed in Sofia's mind as she was getting ready for her dinner with the Perez.
"Hair che-"
Ding dong.
The sound she dreaded. The bell. She rushed downstairs faster than lightning and by passed her startled mother with a 'I got it'.
The first thing she expected to see were those gorgeous blue eyes. But instead, she was met with black ones.
"Hey Miguel. Nice to see you she beamed.
And then she looked behind him expecting to see his brothers but her eyes met the night sky beyond.
"And your brothers?" She asked dreading his answer like the next time her period comes.
His face paled and that was the only answer she needed.
"They were very busy taking care o-" Sofia raised a hand to cut him off knowing he was just trying to come up with excuses.
They didn't want to come.
He didn't want to come.
All this for nothing. How could she be so stupid. She thought to herself.
She thought that maybe, just maybe they could figure things out between them.
But no. She had been a stupid naive girl who thought a man could actually be interested in her.
How wrong she was. The dinner went by nicely. Diego had gone away somewhere while Miguel and Irina kept exchanging looks.
At the end, Irina had to accompany Miguel to the nearest bus stop while Sofia helped her moms clean the dishes and went back up.
She showered and changed into a pair of jeans and a shirt.
She then decided to go for a walk. Just her. No one else. The beach was a few miles away so she could still reach there safely. It was just 8pm afterall.
She went and sat on her favourite spot which was on top of a cliff and let the tears flow.
"He didn't come" she whispered softly.
"And who didn't come?" came his voice from behind her.
Great. Now she's started imagining things. She thought as she got up to leave but froze dead in her tracks when she realised she had not been imagining at all.
Here he was, looking breathtaking as ever in a green shirt and white shorts. Those smoldering blue eyes looking at me with such intensity, she just knew she couldn't be dreaming.
"You, what- how?" She couldn't seem to form words as she was too shocked to say anything.
So they stared at each other and before they knew it, their lips were smashed against each other's in a passionate kiss.
They finally pulled back when they both felt the need for oxygen again.
"I like you" Aaron blurted before he could stop himself.

"Seriously, don't you think you're too young to be tieing buns" Anna said to a happy looking Daniella who was busy fixing her donut bun.
"Nope. And besides, it's a trending hair style."
Daniella was preparing to go out with some friends she made this week.
Don't get the wrong idea. They were just going to dine at a fine restaurant.
Her mothers had made sure to instill in her (and in all of their children) the fear of God and the fact that night clubs were not for Christians.
"Gotta go" Dani said and hugged her sister then moved out, closing the door behind her.
Anna just sat there thinking about her first week at work.
She had expected to see cold people who just minded their own businesses and gossiped and women caking their face with make up. In fact she had expected everything and everyone to be fake.
But to her pleasant surprise, she even got to make two new friends who were amazing and fun to talk to. They even listened attentively as she preached them the gospel!.
Jordany and Tiffany were sure amazing women.
She heard the front door open again and she was sure Daniella had forgot something.
"Dani. Is that you. I knew-"
However, she stopped dead in her tracks when her eyes met tousled dark brown hair instead of a black donut bun and chocolate eyes instead of green ones.
"Sir. What are you -" She didn't have the opportunity to finish as she felt something warm on her lips.
And that's when she realised .
Her boss was kissing her.
And it felt so damn good.

Irina fought the blush that threatened to spread across her cheeks. The man walking besides her was sure a very crude man with a raw tongue."What do you say if we meet at the city square tomorrow "
"Sorry senior but I do not go out with strangers " she retorted.
"It's Miguel to you Irina dearest "
Irina wasn't sure why she blushed or why the butterflies in her stomach were dancing their lifes away.
The bus honked announcing it's arrival and Irina felt slightly disappointed.
Slightly.
But then his next actions caught her completely off guard.
He pulled her to his chest and whispered in her ears.
"Cìty square. Tomorrow 6pm"He moved away and got into the bus and Irina couldn't help but stare at it until it disappeared completely in the darkness.
