Chapter 15

Anna stared nervously at the door, probably waiting for her boss to waltz in any time and finally fire her.
Her heart almost stopped when the door opened but rapidly regained it's pace when Daniella came in smiling like a cheshire cat.

"Hey sis how-" Daniella stopped mid sentence as she stared at Anna's extremely red lips meaning she had been biting them due to anxiousness.

"Hmmm" she said putting her finger on her chin to fake a thoughtful expression while moving closer to where her sister was nervously sitting and fidgeting with her fingers while staring at the door.... like she has been for the past two weeks.

"So, Anna dreamer, tell me what's happening to you these days, I really wish to know the reason for your nervousness "

"Its noth-"

"If you say that word one more time... I'm taking you... on a shopping spree "
Daniella threatened and all the colour drained from Anna's face.

"Okay,Okay" Anna said partly not wanting to carry the burden anymore and mostly not wanting to be dragged in for a shopping spree.

So she told Daniella everything about the encounter with the boss and by the end Daniella's mouth was hanging open, so wide a fly could easily come an cozy there.

She suddenly squealed so loud that Anna didn't have time to block her ears to prevent the obnoxious sound.

Daniella then hugged her sister really. tight, squeezing air out of her.

"OMG. Do you know that that means?" Daniella asked holding her sister's face in her hands.

"That I'm getting fired?" Anna replied quietly.

Dani rolled her eyes.

"No. That he's attracted to you "

Anna stared at her sister's face dumbstruck then suddenly burst out laughing.

"Wow. Dani, you really have a gift to lift up people's moods." she said still laughing but stopped when she stared at her sister's serious face.

"You're not kidding?" Anna asked dumbstruck.

"Do I look like I'm kidding?" Dani deadpanned.

"Anna. That man likes you and by the looks of it, you like him too "

"Tch... stop making stupid assumptions Daniella. You know it will never be possible anyway"

"Aaaah, so you like him " Daniella said wiggling her brows suggestively.

Anna just shot her a disapproving look.

"Tell me Anna-" she said cupping her sister's face in the hands.

"Do you like your boss?"

"Yes" Anna whispered but it didn't escape the ears of the person standing at the door whose voice boomed in the hall seconds later.

"Ah, so you like me."

Someone kill me now.

Sofia's POV

I'm the happiest woman on earth.

Aaron and I had gone to the reserve park for sight seeing  and then we went for a rodeo and right now we're at the beach.
I'm on a horse while Aaron walks holding the ropes of its saddle.

When the test results of the food and water came out, there were trace amounts of a toxic substance which enhanced the functionality of the reproductive system to the detriment of the rest of the body.
