"We need to find Mom and the rest." Suhestyon ko kay Lucas. We need their help,their intelligence to outsmart those who are infected.

"The question is where?" Napaisip ako sa tanong niya. Totoo,we don't have any single clue where to find mom and the rest . If we'll go back to the school,that'll be suicide for us. We are outnumbered. And who knows? Maybe the smart infected have reached that place.

They will for sure,colonize that place for it is a great place that could serve as their HQ.

"You remember? The girl told us that there's a safer place in that forest. We should take a look." Suhestyon ko. Bago mamatay si leila ay sinabi niya iyon.

"Does that also mean we need to take the risk?" He hollered a laugh and later turned the wheels back.

Either it's risk or a hope,we should see. Atleast we tried.

"Wait,do you know a shortcut? They could have been probably back into the drystore.Baka makasakubong natin sila"

" I think I've been at this place once pero hindi ako sure. Parang napuntahan ko na eh."

"Then try, we don't want the death that awaits for us,don't we?"

Maya-maya ay iniliko niya ang manibela. Sure,we're getting rid of the squater's home by driving them off. Buti ay hummer 'tong kotse. Bigtime.

Maya-maya ay natanaw ko ang mga green. This could be the forest.

He later stopped the car. "Ahhh. Tricky,nakapunta na nga ako dito. This is where Ian lived."

"Who's Ian?" I asked out of curiousity.

"He's an Orphan. Inampon ko siya nung may Activity sa School. We are buddies. But he's dead. Meron siyang Leukemia." Pag kwento niya.

I could feel him,meron din kasi akong pinsan na may leukemia. He passed away even before we could see him.

That's a death too early for angels like them.

But God knows it's for the best. It was less painful than having him alive but struggling to find any oxygen nor lying in the hospital bed for the rest of his life.

Than having him here in this situation where killing will be your ally.

We found a high concrete wall beneath those trees. This could be the entrance.

I was about to press the red button. Is this a doorbell or something?

I released a smile as they opened the gates that were so high.

On it came out the thing we once feared. The thing we want to be dead.

Oh,they're already dead. The twist is,they've got brains.

Huh,finally? Sa kakakain nila ng brains,they finally have one.

I hault by the time I reached the realization.

Lucas did as what I.

The Smart zombies might've seen us.But whatever,we'll fight.

But still,they can't talk right? They can think,but they cannot talk.

Oh,what a useful advantage!

Unti-unti silang pumasok pero may naiwan na 3 to search around the area. I could tell by the hand signals he'd been giving.

I undergo a training throughy my mom,right? I knew a lot than the soldiers knew. I almost knew everything what a sergeant would...

"Just..hault." Sabi ko.

I expected that they will come near where we were placed but they didn't.

Just as I expected.... I stood up and run on my most quiet moves. I sliced their ear... And they finally went down.

This chip is a GPS, a GPS that gives them brains.

"I highly doubt who made this." Pagbubukas niya ng topic habang kumakain kami.

"Was he a robot? Because he's freaking smart!" Pag sang ayon ko naman.

"I am sure.. Yung nag-pakalat nitong virus....he could also be the one who made the chips possible."

"He's smart. " I munched the bread,buti hindi pa expired.

"Is he? Baka mas matalino pa ako. Nobody's perfect,Lily. I'm sure may butas din 'to somewhere." He said laying his back at the car's seat.

"Wake me up when you wake first." He fixed his cloth. " Good night,lily. Save Energy." He slept with a smile.. A smirk perhaps?

Napatulala ako. Is he seducing me! Omygod,ang landi ha!

Inubos ko na 'yung tinapay at natulog na.

I woke up dahil sa ingay sa labas.

Please lord,let it be not the smart zombies. I don't want myself Dead.

I woke my eyes and good thing,no zombies around.

Lucas was still heavenly asleep. San galing 'yung ingay?

Oh,the gates.

Wait--the gates!

"Lucas-Lucas-Lucas!" Sabi ko habang inaayos yung mga baril.

Buti at agad siyang nagising.

"They could see us here!" Sabi ko.

He stopped me from what I've been doing.

"Carefully..slowly... Move at the back of this hummer." Sabi niya, I did as what he told.

I prayed as I silently moved.

Lucas was still looking outside. This car is tinted black. I'm sure they can't see us and that's why they'll open this car.

Lucas is brilliant.

Noong nasa likod na kami nitong van,I heard someone opened the car.

Sinara agad naman nila ito, and they'll check for the back. We moved carefully to the front and closed the apartment that separates the front and the back side of this hummer.

That was a swift move-yet it was wrong. Because the windows are opened.

Ohmygod. This is bad. Real Bad.

Agad na pinaandar ni Lucas ang kotse while I was busy closing the windows.

I could hear the stomps of their feet towards us. They're crazy!

Medyo nakalayo na kami. I am glad we're still alive. We survived that chaos.

I opened the apartment the divides this car into two and I was surprised upon the view.

"Holy shit!" I positioned my gun through his head and was ready to shoot but he groaned.

Lucas continued driving.

"Fucking Prosthetics! Fucking make-up! Fucking life! Fucking sacrifice!" The lady zombie hollered.

Wait a lady---but he talks like a man. His voice sounded like a man.

Did those who invented smart zombies also invented this?

Wait-isn't he going to eat us?!

"Who are you? How can you talk?"

"Seriously?!" He removed his face. I looked away. that's gross!

As I looked again... This is ridiculous!
