"I'll never let you go, Changbin." Felix cried from the other side of the room with his arm outstretched, reaching across the uncrossable distance from his one true love. Changbin and Felix erupted into giggles, lasting until their teacher threatened to write them up from disrupting his class.

Hours later, right before the final bell rang to signal everyone to began leaving school, the sky became dark. Lightning flashed and thunder made a deep rumble that seem to come from somewhere deep within the sky. The heavens were alive and charged with electricity. As Felix made his way outside to look for Chan's car, he felt the sensations of a few drops landing on the soft territory of his hair. Luckily the night before Woojin knew of the next days forecast and kindly made sure to put an umbrella in Felix's backpack. Of course, the umbrella wouldn't have been needed against a few lowly drops, but time went by and Chan still never showed. And the weather grew worse, but bearable
An hour after the bell rang, Felix was sitting on a bench with his umbrella protecting him from becoming drenched, and possibly sick. The school grounds were completely empty with no one to be seen anywhere around. He could feel his increasing panic rise into his throat and reaching his eyes as he began to worry. Of course he had attempted to call Chan numerous amounts of times, but to no avail. The only other person he could call to pick him up was Woojin since none of his other friends but Changbin had their licence and asking Changbin to drive him was impossible. But woojin at this time would most likely be at his part time job and Felix would really hate to be a bother...
But he really didn't have any other choice.
Of all days, why did that one have to be the day Changbin chose to hang out with Hyunjin at the arcade and mall.
At least Felix could've had some company if he hadn't.
With a sigh, Felix rummaged through his bag to feel for his phone. Sadly, the movement made his back lose the shelter his umbrella provided. He found his phone and snatched it from the bag cursing as he felt his soaked clothes stick to his skin. It really wasn't the most pleasant feeling, especially since he didn't know how much longer he was going to have to sit outside or how bad the weather was going to get.
He opened his phone to his contacts and scrolled to Woojin's number, which read 'Mama Woobear.' He dialed the number and after a heartbeat, immediately received an answer.
"Hey, Felix. What's up?" Woojin's cheerful voice rang through the phone.
"I kinda need a ride home? If that's not too much of a bother?" Felix nervously asked, praying Woojin would not be too busy to help him.
"Wait... Why do you need a ride? Wasn't Chan supposed to pick you and Changbin up? Oh. My. God. Do not tell me that man forgot to pick you two. And you've been sitting outside the school for what? An hour now?" Woojin raged through the speaker.
"Woojin, really. It's not that big of a deal. And Changbin's actually not with me. He's hanging out with Hyunjin today."
"It really is a big deal, Felix! I mean he just forgot about you! How could he do that!? I mean come on?! What if you get really sick? What if a child predator saw you out there and decided to kidnap you? What if you're phone died and you had no way of contacting me and you had to try to walk all the way home on all those dangerous roads?" In the background of the call, you could hear Woojin's co-workers ask where he was going and then the slam of a car door. This was followed my the engine roaring to life and the accelerator pushing the car to high speeds.
Woojin's voice calmed,"You did say that Changbin is hanging out with Hyunjin? That's really strange since all three of you usually hang out together. Don't feel too upset though. You have me to keep you company."
"Thanks, Woojin. You're always there for me."
"Of course! You're my best friend, I'm always here for you."
Felix and Woojin stayed on the call talking about random things, like dinner, until Woojin's car pulled into the school's lot. Felix rushed up to the car, closed his umbrella, and entered the vehicle, thanking the lord that he could finally go home.
Thankfully the rain camouflaged his tears with tiny drops from the crying sky.
