A/N: This one shot has the MC in it but he's actually a nice guy! He's asexual and has no interest in any of the girls, Yay! Enjoy!

Sayori ran into the clubroom door, then proceeded to open it and enter. "Ow! Sorry I'm late again guys!" Sayori was notorious for being late to the club, even later than...

"AGH!" Sayori felt someone run into her as they both landed on the floor. "Mattypatty?"

Mattypatty is Sayori's childhood best friend. He knows the more about Sayori than anyone else. "I'm sorry, Sayori! I didn't see you there!"

"It's ok." Mattypatty held out his hand and helped Sayori off the ground. "Looks like we're both late, huh..."

"Yeah, normally it's just you."

"Hey, meanie!" Mattypatty and Sayori tease each other all the time. The other club members have gotten used to it at this point.

"Guys..." Monika could never be mad at her club mates. Especially Sayori. Monika was hopelessly smitten with the ray of sunshine that was Sayori, even when her light was blocked out by a few rain clouds. Sayori never told Monika about her depression, but one week Sayori really wasn't doing well, and Monika did some research to figure out what could have been wrong with Sayori. All of Sayori's symptoms aligned with depression, and Monika begun to get very concerned about the adorable girl. When she confronted Mattypatty about it she discovered that he was trying his best to help her and that she didn't want the rest of the club to know, so Monika didn't tell anyone she knew. Not even Sayori.

"I'm sorry, Monika. I'll try to be on time next time!" The whole club knew that no matter how hard she tried, Sayori would never be on time. But it was ok because she tried, and she was never that late.

"It's ok, Sayori. Just try your best to be close to on time."

"Yes, captain!" Everyone laughed. Depressed or not, Sayori tried her best to make her friends laugh.

"Ok, first mate Sayori. What is your excuse  for being late, young quarter master!"

Mattypatty assumed that Monika was referring to him. "I apologize, Captain! But I needed to fix my eyepatch!" Mattypatty was referring to his contacts. One of them got messed up so he had to fix it.

"A valid excuse! The club activities shall commence!" Evryone laughed and begun their daily activities. Yuri read her book, Natsuki read her manga, Monika pondered club business (until she began thinking of Sayori), Sayori was writing poetry, and Mattypatty bounced around the room trying to spend a different day of the week with each if his friends (he spent the extra day with Sayori, in case she needed cheering up).

Today Mattypatty spent time with Sayori. She seemed a little down today, even though it was almost Friday. "Hey, Sayori."

"Oh! Hi, Mattypatty! What are you doing?"

"I wanted to see what poem you were writing."

Sayori clutched her notebook close to her chest. "It's nothing! It's really bad, trust me!" She said that a little louder than she wod have liked.

Mattypatty got close enough and whispered, "Is it another love poem for a certain captain."

Mattypatty always seemed to see right through Sayori...well it wasn't exactly difficult, but still. Sayori hid her now crimson face behind her notebook and nodded.

"Let me see, I'm curious how good you are when there is a person of interest in mind." Sayori handed over the notebook with the page flipped to the poem she was just writing. It was really passionate and creative! It actually hid her message well, but if you knew what its intention you could easily spot every detail that was meant for Monika. "Sayori, you should share this poem today!"
