Dear Diary,

Gene Schmante seemed like your typical bad boy. He skipped classes and hung out in a gang. People assumed he had bad grades and did drugs, but that's not true. The only harmful to your body thing Gene did was smoke. Gene had secrets, but they're not as dark as you'd think.

Gene has a little brother named Dante Schmante. Gene made it his life goal to be a good role model for his little brother, since their father isn't the nicest person. Their father is a hit man, and constantly puts the family in danger. Gene protected Dante and their mom. That's why he acted like a bad boy. To look tough. That's why he was in gangs. So that he had people on his side. Everything seemingly bad thing Gene did was to protect Dante. But he didn't know Dante's secrets.

Gene had a crush on his best friend, Sasha McSneekerson. He knew about her child with Laurance, and he even offered to help take care of it. But Sasha didn't let him. However, he still did everything he could to protect the child.

Gene was the only other person who knew Sasha's secrets. She told him one day behind the school bleachers, after he told her his. That night, Gene was drunk, got in a car accident and died, or at least that's what everyone thinks. Sasha poisoned him. The poison kicked in when he was in the car. He crashed. That's the truth about his death. You can avenge him if you want. After all, it's your secret now. Do what you want.
