Tempest's POV

"We're approaching the Kryptonian ship." I heard from my earpiece. We were inside of a truck, Barry driving us through military protection. I stared down the coffin that held Clark Kent inside of it. I gulped looking at Arthur, his eyes held no emotion.

"Uh, aren't you worried that we might, ya know, die or suffer the consequences of defying the laws of life and death on a cosmic level?" I whispered to Arthur, Diana chuckled. He just shook his head, a soft grin playing his lips.

"Trust me, sweetheart, I am." He whispered. I sighed.

"That's reassuring..." I mumble under my breath. The truck came to a stop, we all climbed out of the truck Arthur grabbing the wooden coffin. We all started to make our way into the Kryptonian, I stayed close to Arthur as I stared in awe at the marvelous ship. My boots clicked as my sword dangled from my belt. We finally reached the main room with the robot thingy.

"This is amazing!" Victor beamed as he walked toward the robotic thing.

"This is crazy..." Victor grumbled. I eyed him, my eyebrow lifting.

"Now it's crazy?" I beamed sarcastically. I heard Diana laugh, as Bruce coward behind her. He just got a scolding.

"You lunatics better know what you're doing." He added. I rolled my eyes as my eyes flickered to the coffin.

"Lex Luthor fried the circuits bring his creature to life. There's not enough charge to wake the box." He informed. I sighed, turning on my heel towards the exit.

"Welp! That's really too bad, alright guys I still have enough time to go home for a Ghost Adventures marathon―" Arthur grabbed the collar of my jacket turning me back around. I huffed, folding my arms.

"I might be able to do it. I might be able to jumpstart the box. If I can get enough distance, I can conduct a significant electrical current." Barry informed.

"Oh! So you are good at something besides tripping on your feet, Twinkle Toes!" I joked, he stuck his tongue out at me as I mirrored him.

"We have to try." Victor chimed. Barry nodded running off. I stood against the wall watching my fellow comrades prepare. I watched as Arthur placed the body of Clark into the yellowish pee looking liquid. I picked at my black nail polish, not really doing much.

"It's the end of the line, we have a problem," Barry said. Bruce face hardened.

"What's the problem?" He asked, my attention back onto the group.

"I don't have enough distance.." He said. Everyone sighed until Bruce looked at me.

"What?" I asked puzzledly.

"What if someone could magnify the amount of electricity you produced, would that be enough?" He asked. I frowned.

"I think so." He replied.

"Oh hell no, I am not doing that. Over my dead body, well over his dead body because I really don't wanna die to do this!" I said pointing at Clark.

"Come on, Temp. You did it for Clark when we fought the creature that night, you owe him this."

"He asked me to do it! Hell, YOU begged me! Plus, I am a conductor of electricity, I only amplified Clark's physical strength, this is different. This could kill me!" I exclaimed.

"Please, just try. Save people, kick some ass?" Bruce said he extended his fist out to me. I smiled and nodded as I bumped it with my own.

"Save people and kick ass."
