The team stood in front of the willow in complete awe. The willow had a purple hue to it, soft melodies coming from it. Unbelievably, the thing that Tempest feared the most had already arrived.

"What the hell is that?" Bruce asked in his suit. The team eyed at Tempest as she stood frozen.

"Okay, so the good thing is that the egg hasn't hatched, the bad thing is we don't know how long it's been there so how many days do we have left?" She informed. The team was boggled that a giant black egg stood at the core of the tree.

"Again...the hell is that?" Arthur murmured. Tempest gave a cheeky smile and shrugged.

"Ya know, it's just an uh Devine Beast...nothing new." She mumbled out in a breath. They all looked at her with crazed eyes.

"Wait as in Lord Of The Rings? What am I doing with my life?" Barry huffs, Diana looked down at the willow touching the water surrounding it.

"I've only heard legends of this from my people. They say the tree of a Devine Beast has healing properties." She informs, Tempest nodded her head.

"Yeah, it does. The origin of the Fountain of Youth comes from an old legend when the war between the badlands and Eveangar was raging, one of the generals fell. He didn't survive the crash, but a tree just like this sprouted and with it a Devine Beast. The beast protected it but was later slain by humans and they came upon the water, calling it the Fountain of Youth. Funny thing was that if the water consumed by mortals didn't see it as worthy, it would slowly kill them from the inside out." Tempest's voice faltered as she was reminded of her people.

"Wait so, you have a direct connection to this tree thing?" Barry asks. She nodded, as her palm reached out and touched the bark of the tree. The glow increased as her eyes sparkled along with it. A surge of energy went through the team as the wind picked up.

"So what comes out of the big Easter egg? A goblin or something?" Arthur chimes ruining the moment. Tempest frowned.

"No, actually it's different for every guardian. The general from the legend his was two hex Foxes. My fathers was a lion, it really depends on the person." She informed. Arthur hummed. Diana looked at her in awe, bowing her head slightly.

"My people have always admired your legends, I never thought I would survive to see a Skylander. Although, all the legends claim your people to have wings- " Her words halted, Tempest silver eyes went to a piercing red almost crimson. She had figured it was a touchy subject.

"So what do we do with the tree? Chop it down?" Bruce asks. Tempest's eyes returned to their normal silver hue. She gave him a slight smirk.

"I mean, you can try. But there are no metals that can penetrate this wood that exists on this earth. If you do it can also cause a disruption in the soil, choose your pick." She said looking up to the tree.

"So what's the plan?" Bruce asked her. She shrugged and leaned against the core of the tree.

"We wait..." She answered slowly. They all looked at her in disbelief.

"Wait for the thing to hatch! You said you don't even know what it is!" Arthur exclaimed.

"I know, douche canoe! But unless you have another plan by all means!" She exclaimed, pointing at the rather large egg. They sighed and nodded, slowly moving back from the tree.

"Alright, now before someone comes and makes a big deal out of the whole 'Fountain of Youth' thing and gets killed, I'm going to give it a dome." She spoke, they all looked at her as she worked her hands around the tree.

The earth stood still, no chirping from the crickets, no wind, just her and the tree. Slowly a small transparent like dome began cascading down the tree. In awe, the team stepped back and watched her work. The air held nothing but raw power and beaming energy, which radiated from her.

"I've never met someone so careless and paranoid, which I think is impossible to have in a sentence together." Barry murmured to Victor. The cyborg laughed quietly, trying not to interrupt her.

Tempest breathed out, her eyes fluttering open once again to face the tree. She smiled at her successes in 'disguising' the tree. She turned back to the team smiling giving thumbs up.

"We should be good! Alright, back to the hotel. I am beat!" She groaned. They all hummed an agreement as they made their way back to the hotel.

. . .

Tempest laid in her bed, the tips of her fingers grazing her lips. She smiled, the thought of Arthur's lips on her own sent chills down her spine. She had never really been in a relationship, ― yeah she has some one-night stands, but never a relationship.  The thought alone made her shudder. Complete silence went over her. She was unaware that she wad being watched. Someone lurked outside of the mansion watching her every move. They knew everything about her. They knew what became of her and her kingdom. Especially what became of her father. They lurked silently with no motion just pure silence.

"Hmm I have a weird feeling." She muttered.

"Maybe it's the crush you have on Arthur!" Barry chimes in from the corridor.

"Eek! Want me to tell you about it?" She squeaks.

"On what green earth would a dude wanna hear a girl gush about another dude?" He asked. Tempest frowned.

"Girl spill. Waaait lemme get some popcorn!" He says running full speed to the kitchen and back.

"It was sooo good. I told him about my past and we had a heart to heart moment! I loved ever second!" She beamed as Barry listen intently.

"Arthur? Arthur Curry? Atlantis?" The shadow voiced out loud.
