"Broken" Chapter 16

Selena’s P.O.V

Justin left for class, closing the door and locking it behind him. I waited a few seconds before doing a happy dance and squealing like a little girl. I was just I don’t even know. I had my boyfriend back. Amber really was right, he is what I need. And this time I know he’s not leaving.

I picked up my phone and called Taylor, I would call Ambertoo but she’s in class.

“Hey babe” Taylor answered.

“Hey doll, wanna come over and help me pick out an outfit for my date tonight?” I said eagerly.

“Of course! Be there in ten” she said before hanging up. I put my phone on the coffee table and went over to the stereo and put my mix CD I just made in. I turned on Turn Around by Flo-Rida I turned it up a little. I sat on the couch and looked over my paper once more and then heard a knock at the door. I hopped off the couch and skipped over to the door and opened it,

“Hi!” I said bubbly to Taylor.

“Hi hi!” she said. I moved aside so she could walk in and I closed and lockedthe door.

“What’s up?” Taylor said as she sat down on the couch.

“Well, today is Justin’s and my one year” I said smiling like an idiot.

“Oh right!!” she said excitedly.

“Yeah! And I don’t know what to wear.” I said fake pouting.

“Well what on earth are we doing sitting here, lets go raid your closet!” she said hopping up and running into my room and I followed.

“Is it a fancy date or casual” she asked as she went through my closet.

“Fancy” I said, sitting on my bed. She threw clothes at me over her shoulder as she was looking through.

“Try those on” she said sitting down. I went into the bathroom and tried on the first dress and it was a short lace cream colored dress that had 3/4 length sleeves and a black belt that went around the waist. I walked out of the bathroom and Taylor’s jaw dropped.

“Your so wearing that” she said.

“But what about the other-” I started.

“Forget the others, that’s the one.” she said nodding.

“Okay” I giggled. I went into the bathroom and took off the dress and hung it up so no wrinkles or creases would get in it. I walked back into my room,

“So do you know where your going?” Taylor asked. I shook my head,

“Nope! See when Justin takes me out, he thinks its funny to watch me get frustrated when he won’t tell me where we’re going.” I said laying across mybed on my stomach.

“One years a big deal huh” she said. I nodded.

“Yeah it doesn’t feel like it.” I said giggling.

“You guys are so going to do the dirty.” she said shaking her head and laughing.

“We’ll see” I said smirking.

“Is he a virgin?” she asked. I let out a laugh,

“Oh no, no no no.” I said shaking my head and chuckling, “I took his virginity the night of prom” I explained. She nodded,

“How adorable” she gushed. I just laughed.

“You really love him don’t you” she said looking at me.
