Chapter Eleven

"Broken" Chapter 11

Justin’s P.O.V

“It’s already 5. Where would we go” she asked.

“Well, we could just go somewhere on campus” I said shrugging.

“We could do that” she smiled and looked down at her feet as we walked. She stopped walking and I looked at her confused. She just put her arms around my neck and hugged me tightly. I wrapped my arms around her waist and hugged her just as tight.

“I’m glad you came back for me” she whispered into my ear.

“Me too. I’m sorry for leaving in the first place” I whispered back. She pulled away from the hug but left her arms around my neck. She leaned in and kissed me softly but it was filled with love. She pulled away from the kiss and smiled shyly at me. She unwrapped her arms from my neck and grabbed my hand and we continued walking.

“Do you want to go out around 7?” I asked. She nodded. We walked into the apartment building and up to our floor.

“We should decorate our door like the rest of the people.” she said looking at the door. In college people decorate their doors with like, their names so show they live there and what not. All the other doors on our floor are decorated.

“We can do that” I smiled. I unlocked the door and stepped in. Selena walked over to the kitchen and started taking things out of the cupboard.

“Whatcha making?” I asked. I sat on the stool at the counter across from her.

“A peanut butter and jelly sandwich” she said grinning and scrunching up her nose, making a cute face.

“Want one?” she asked. I shook my head and said no thanks.

“So do I need to dress up for this date?” she asked while taking a bite out of her sandwich.

“Not if you don’t want to” I said.

“Good, because I’m too lazy” she said giggling. I looked down at my hands and then had an idea.

“I need to go somewhere really quickly” I said randomly. She looked at me skeptically,

“Okay where” she asked.

“Just somewhere down the street. I should only be like twenty minutes” I said standing up. She nodded.

“So go take a shower or whatever you need to do and I’ll be right back” I said walking over to her. She nodded. I grabbed a set of keys and walked out of theapartment. But I immediately turned on my heels and opened the door again and Selena stood there in the same spot with her hands on her hips smirking. I smiled and picked her up and she wrapped her legs around me. Our noses were touching and she was giggling,

“I forgot something” I said looking at her lips.

“And what would that be?” she said quietly though a smile.

“This” I said kissing her sweetly. I could feel her smile on my lips making me smile as well.

“I love you Selena Jean” I said kissing her again quickly.

“I love you too Justin Drew” she said grabbing my face and kissing me again. I set her down back on her feet,

“Okay, now I’ll be back” I said. Selena did a little wave and I walked out. I quickly ran out to my car and drove down the street to the closest flower shop. I bought 11 red roses and one fake one. Yes, I’m going to do the oldest gift idea in the book. I’ll love you until the last rose dies. I drove back to theapartment and when I walked into our apartment music was blasting. I knew this song. It was Stolen by Dashboard Confessional. I threw the keys on the kitchen counter and walked towards Selena’s room. Her door was open and she was sitting on her bed in a pair of sweats and a cami. Her hair was still wet from the shower. She was sitting on her bed drawing. Her back was faced to me and I leaned against the doorway with the bouquet of roses in my hand behind my back. I knocked on the door frame twice and Selena snapped her head around and her face lit up causing me to feel butterflies. She put her drawing stuff next to her and got off of the bed and turned the music down. She walked over to me and looked at me with a thinking face,
