Shiny lights of New Jersey has always make her feel happy for the past three years. Night time was her favorite time of the day. Old couples and family she knew greet and smiled at her whenever she walks in a small park just at the back of her apartment building.
It was a tiring day for her since she got fired in a small time restaurant she was barely making money with for the few months. She wondered about tomorrow. She wondered about how she will feed her 10 year old brother who's living with her. She even can't sustain his education much to her dismay. She was broke. Now rent and bills is going to hunt her.

"Would you buy this?" A tiny voice makes her woke of her own thoughts. Big doe eyes was staring right at her. A kid maybe on her 8 years offered a wet white roses neatly tucked in a round basket that looks heavy on her. "This are freshly picked lady."

"Oh, can I know your name? I am Saphire by the way" The girl looks up at her eyes shining slightly.
"Promise you'll buy if I tell you my name?" She asked expectantly. Saphire hesitate for a while knowing she only have a few bucks left and she bet could only last for a week with her brother. But something about the girl seems to picked on her heart to give.
She nod. The girl smiled ay her widely.
"I am Dara. And it's twenty Miss Saphire." Dara gingerly picked her 10 pretty roses and neatly wrapped it with newspaper. "Thank you and goodbye Miss Saphire!"
