MINA'S POV
It's been five days since Jimin left and I'm not getting any updates from him. I did not expect that he will be gone for this long just because of a business emergency, but I can't really blame him because things happen inevitably.
I don't know why I'm not receiving any updates from him. He did not text me once and it's bothering me. There were no calls nor messages, so I was somehow worried of his condition, but I've been telling myself that he and his family is okay. I'm praying that they're all right.
I was busy working for my worker's paycheck when Joshua knocked on my door. He's been looking more and more tired these days because he's been busy preparing for Youngbin's first birthday. "Hey, handsome." I greeted him, but he did not greet me back in which I find odd. He's sweaty and he looks like he ran from someplace else. "Are you okay?" I asked him.
He's catching his breath when he reached my table. He slammed his hands on my table, so I looked at his hands and saw that he's holding some papers. "What are those?" I asked him. Nervousness rose to my heart and I started asking a lot questions already.
"Did you not know?" He asked, a little bit mad for no reason. I don't know why he's fucking mad! "Mina, did you not know?!"
"What?!" I yelled back once he started shouting at me.
He lifted up the papers and threw it on my keyboard. He started pacing back and forth in front of me while pinching his nose bridge and closing his eyes. "Read that." He commanded.
"No, I will not." I calmly stated and stood up. I don't get his deal at all. He stormed to my office and yelled at me all of a sudden, so why the fuck am I going to do his orders? He's not the boss of me! "Summarize this for me."
"Jimin is getting married!"
I snickered, "Yeah, to me, duh?"
"No!" He shouted once again. He looks really angry. "He's getting married to Yoo Jeongyeon in three days in Korea!"
"Yoo Jeong--what?" Who the fuck?
"They pulled out the stocks from your family's company and they delayed your marriage with him already!"
"Why?" I asked him, but he did not manage to answer right away. "Tell me why, Hong Jisoo."
He sighed and placed both of his hands on his waist, "They knew."
"They knew what?"
"They knew your background." I petrified when he said the reason. "They found out that you worked as a harlot in the past and they did not want someone like you to marry Jimin--"
"Someone like me?" I cut him and he stiffened. "What the fuck am I? A monster? What do you mean by someone like me, Hong Jisoo?!"
"Look, it was not my intention to offend you by calling you something like that--"
"Please get out of my office." He looked at me with his pleading eyes, but I stared at him meaningfully that he decided to go instead of complaining. I glanced at the papers once again and decided to call Minhyun to get me plane tickets.
I taught you how to be brave? Then, what kind of cowardice is this? I'll show you what fucking braveness is, Park Jimin.
