JIMIN'S POV
My smile is lacking.
No matter how much I try to smile sincerely, it will never measure up the kind of smiles I share with Mina. I don't know if destiny is that cruel between the two of us because no matter how much I try to reach her, we can't seem to meet in the middle. There's always a hindrance and now...I feel like giving up.
"You look dashing, son." Mom appeared from behind me as I stare myself at the body mirror. She smiled and placed her hands on my shoulders. "I'm sorry," she apologized and a tear from her eyes escaped right away. "I'm sorry if you have to go through this for the company that your dad built."
"Don't be sorry, mom." I smiled at her through the mirror. "Dad will never understand our situation because he had never been in our shoes." She nodded slightly and continued to tear up, so I faced her and wiped her tears using my handkerchief. "Thank you, mom." I hugged her and she did the same. "I never imagined that my wedding would be something like this, though."
"It's all your dad's doing," she said. "Just try to be more patient as long as you can."
"I'm doing this for the sake of my family, for you, mom." I kissed her forehead and then she asked me to go downstairs before Jeongyeon arrives at the church. I heard that they spent millions of won just for this wedding, so I shouldn't be really throwing this one.
I've been thinking of Mina since we arrived at the church. I don't know if she heard this news or what. If she knew, maybe I'd be dead by now. She's the type of person to let out her anger to the person who lied to her. I promised not to tell a single lie to her anymore, but I broke that promise.
"Wow, that's a suit!" I saw Seulgi from afar with her husband. I smiled at her and when she reached me, I gave her a hug. It's been quite a while, too, since Seulgi and I met. The things between us was settled already and now that she's married, I'm just happy for her since she can be the person she loves forever. "Where's your bride?" She asked.
"She's still getting ready." I stated.
"What's the matter?" She asked. Do I look that devastated that she actually felt that I'm not happy about this day?
"I'll go to the loom, hun." Her husband told her, so she just nodded and watched her husband stroll away.
"Yah, Park Jimin," she held my cheek. "Are you okay?" Her tone has a bit of concern in it. "Jimin-ah," she called again, but I did not answer.
I held her hand on my cheek and put it down, "I'm not happy."
"Because?"
"Because..." I sighed and looked away. "...it wasn't Mina." She just looked at me and I can tell that she's pitying me for what happened. She, too, thought that it's me and Mina already, but things fuck up very easily. One day I'm with Mina and then the other day, I've flown back to Korea for Yoo Jeongyeon. "I don't want a marriage like this."
"Well, honestly speaking, you can't do anything now." She stated and that's true. I can't do anything now because of dad and his ridiculous rules. "You'll learn to love her soon." We were talking and the guests arrived one by one. I was surprised to see Hyorin noona with Jooyoung hyung, so I excused myself from Seulgi to talk with the couple, but I was stopped when Minhyuk told me that we should start organizing ourselves because Yoo Jeongyeon is going to arrive anytime soon.
The wedding planner had me stay by the pastor at the altar, so I was unable to talk with Hyorin noona. I watched them talk to each other and got more curious when Hwasa, Loco hyung, Sana and all of the harlots starting to arrive one by one. I wanted to ask how did they enter here because even the church's gates are guarded by dad's men. I even saw Dahyun enter, so I became more curious.
"The bride has arrived," the officiator said, so we all readied ourselves for Yoo Jeongyeon's arrival. The guests stood up to welcome her and when the gates opened, the bridesmaids started marching. I can't even look because this is not what I wanted. A lady showed up out of nowhere and now I have to marry her. Isn't that crazy stupid? "The bride is now walking the aisle." The officiator stated as Yoo Jeongyeon started walking. There's a lot of photographers taking pictures of her. I can't entirely see her face because it's been hidden by the long veil.
"Groom, please escort your bride to the altar." I stepped towards her and held her hand to lead her. As soon as we reached the pastor, they all applauded which made my heart just sink more. "The pastor will now have to lead them in saying the wedding vows."
"We will start first with the groom," the pastor said. This is really happening, huh? Tell me that all of this is just a dream. "Groom, do you promise to stay by your bride's side and make her happy for as long as you shall live?" I glanced at Yoo Jeongyeon and then to my family. I sighed.
"For my family, I do." I told the pastor.
"Bride, do you promise to stay by your groom's side and make him happy for as long as the both of you shall live?" I closed my eyes, wishing the she would say no, but she did not.
I felt her hold my hand and say, "I do." It wasn't Yoo Jeongyeon's voice which made my heart beat so fast. I looked at her through the veil and petrified when I saw Mina. I looked around the venue and saw Yoo Jeongyeon standing near. She was smiling, so I smiled back and mouthed "thank you" for the best thing that happened in my life.
"They will now exchange rings." The officiator said and the joy in my heart just can't keep calm. I want to wedding to finish soon, so I can go kiss Mina already and go to our honeymoon!
The ceremony lasted and then, I was told to lift up my wife's veil and kiss her. I hurriedly did that to see Mina's face. She was giggling and I was tearing up because of such surprise. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked with my cracked voice because of this overwhelming feeling.
She held my cheek, "I wanted to surprise you." She, too, was crying out of joy, so I teared up harder. I quickly kissed her as the crowds cheer.
"I love you," I whispered after our long kiss ended. "Forever." She nodded and hugged me tightly.

We proceeded to the reception. I haven't seen my dad yet after the wedding and I wanted to ask why did he approve of my marriage with Mina when he's supposed to marry me off to the lady he introduced me days ago.
The reception was wild. It's so beautiful that I can't even imagine that they would actually design something so amazing. "It happened so fast." Mina said as we sit on the center table for everyone to see the newly wed couple.
"How did you know?" I asked her.
She took my hand and rested her head on shoulder, "Joshua told me and then I had to go here to see you, but I did not. I called Minhyuk and he told me that your father forbade you to go out of your house, so I asked for Jeongyeon instead."
"Jeongyeon? Yoo Jeongyeon?" She hummed a yes which shocked me.
"Yeah. She doesn't want to get married to you neither, so she helped me with my plan."
"And that was your plan?" She nodded and we both laughed. I can't believe that after everything that had happened between me and Mina, we would still end up together. "It was a bright idea."
"Of course, it was me who thought of it."
