5. Football date

CAL'S POV

I woke up tense and tired. I opened my phone and to see the time. 2:00. I jumped to of bed and ran into the bathroom and jumped in the shower. And yes I brushed my teeth at the same time because it's faster this way. I jumped out and wrapped my towel around my waste quickly and dried my hair. I grabbed any old jumper, some shorts and a under layer for them. I put them on and grabbed my football boots and trainers. Last of all I grabbed my phone to see the time. 2:30. Shit I'm gonna be late. I ran out my room to only be stopped by Harry and lux standing in the hallway. 

" where are you going?" They both asked looking and me confusedly. "Uh? To record a video with a friend". "If your going to record a video where's your camera?" Harry questioned. "Uh? I left in the living room? Can you let me go I'm gonna be late" I muttered and tried to push past them. They both held me back. 

"Is this video why you keep seeking of randomly everyday?". 

"Can we know about this video?". 

"Is it a girl?!". "Can I meet her?".

 Getting, annoyed I shove them out the way and grab my keys and camera. "No, later, no, no as it's not a girl" I yelled as went towards the door. "I will tell you when I'm back". I left and went and got into my car. 

*time skip to the shop* 

I parked up outside the shop and opened up the door. I sighed and walked in and looked as did my phone. 2:45. Thank god its close to my block of flats. I walked up to the counter and looked up at the menu. A bell rang and I looked down expecting it to see Simon. " didn't get me this time". He sighed and smiled. "Hot chocolate and cookie?" He asked knowing that I was going to get it. I nodded "to go though". His smile seemed to get brighter as if he remembered something and went into the kitchen. 

I lent against the counter and felt eyes staring at me. I looked at the direction it was coming from to see four people staring at me from behind the staff room door. " can I help you?" I asked as one came up to me. He was dark skinned and was wearing a black bandanna which went with his uniform.

 "Are you callum??" He asked staring up at me, "yeah? How do your know my name?". He smiled and sighed out of relief, "so your the one giving si all those messages I thought was all creepy old guy?". I felt my face going red as he mentioned the notes I would give to si. "O-okay?" The others came up to me. Another dark skinned man spoke as he put on his snap back. "It's nice to meet you I'm tobi the bandanna guy is jj the short one is vik and the bearded one is Josh. I smiled as I remembered si telling me about tobi. "So your the one who came up with minifreezy smart ship name" I chuckled. "I know right it si doesn't like but I'm glad one of you do" he smiled as I talked. "Anyway Mr si's secret boyfriend why are you getting your stuff to go don't you normally stay in?" He asked as he smirked at the "clever" name he came up for me. "Um? Well me and si were gonn-"

 i was stopped by a bell and I looked back at a smiling si with out his apron and with my cookie and drink. "That will be 3 pound 20" he muttered and I dropped my money on the counter and grabbed my drink and cookie. He put the money in the cash register and picked up some football boots and came from behind the counter. "Ready to go?" I asked as he grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the door. "Yep" he said excitedly. As I got pulled out the door I looked back to see the confused looks on their faces but tobi's he looked excited or some Shit?  I look back at si noticing we stopped. " which one is your car?" He asked. I chuckled at his question and took his hand taking him backwards towards my car. We got inside and he chucked his boots in the back with mine. He saw my camera and started to record the drive to the football pitch with out me knowing.

When we got there I got out the car and grabbed our boots. I looked up to see a Simon holding a camera up towards me filming me change into my boots and shove a cookie down my mouth. I smiled and chucked his boots towards him and took my camera from him. I grabbed my tripod as si changed into his boots. I chucked footballs behind me and turned around to see si holding some slightly struggling. I laughed and grabbed some and headed towards the pitch.

Soon enough I set up my camera and tripod. I looked back to see Simon trying to juggle the football's and I called him over. "Just so you know we are doing football challenges" I muttered and turned on the camera. "Hey guys and today I'm with my friend Simon and we will be doing football challenges" I said introducing si. "Hi!" he waved still trying to juggle the footballs. I laughed at his attempts and went back to talking to the camera. " okay, the first round cross bar challenge". Si set up all the footballs ran over to me. 

"Ching Chang wallah to figure out who goes first" he said while stretching his arms. "Best of 3". We both tied twice but si ended up winning. 

He ran up and kicked all 5 balls only three hitting the bar. "I'm gonna win this no doubt!" He said running around cheering for his three wins. It was my go next I messed up three times. "I win!". Sighed at my bad football skills. "It's only first round I yelled as I ran over to him by the camera.

 "Okay let's move on to round 2 trick shot I'm going first this time three goes it each and you have to get it into the net each time". I got into position and stretched. Simon got in goal and I tired to think of a weird trick shot. "I call this? The fail?" I said loudly so the camera and simon could pick it up. I ended up missing the ball twice and when I did kick it saved by si. "Why did the name fit so well" si chuckled kicking the ball towards me. I laughed and stopped the ball with my foot. "The next one will be better". 

*time skip to the last round*

"It's the last round and I'm losing so I'm do whatever I can to win" I whispered into the camera. "I'm going first this round" si shouted from behind the goal trying to get the ball soon running over to me. "Fine with me" I grind and he set up to take his left foot penalty. As soon as he was going to kick the ball I ran and slid kicking the ball out the way and laying there. "You know the grounds really nice here" I said laughing as he kicked my side. I got up and grabbed the ball putting it back were it was and moved out the way.

 He went to kick the ball yet again but I stopped him. I picked him up as he went to kick and kicked the ball  failing and missing the goal. "Oh no you missed the goal!~" I said looking up at him in my arms. He struggled in my grip and laughed as i span around making us dizzy. Soon enough I drop him and put the ball back. 

"Last go if you miss I win but if you get in you win" I said with a grin on my face. 

"Okay easy" he muttered and I walked back making it look like I wasn't going to mess with him. He smiled and went to kick the ball for the 3rd time. 

Before he could I tackled him down to the ground. I kicked the ball then failing yet again. "I won sorry but I'm just to good at football" I smiled while holding him down. "That's so not far I'm gonna get you back for this"  he said laughing getting out of my grip and getting on top of me. I laughed as felt hands tickle my sides and move to my neck. "S-stop!" I pleaded through laughter. "Say I won and I then I will stop" he chuckled. "Never!" I said siting up and pushing him down and tickling him instead. We both ended up just rolling about on the grass and laughing for 10 minutes. Soon enough I was on top again and his arms were around my neck. The air was tenses. My eye wouldn't stop wondering from his eyes to his lips. The distance from each other was slowly closing.

 That's when I remembered the camera pointing at us. I got up off him and smiled trying to ignore what just happened.  "We still  have to finish the video" I sighed and got up. I helped him up and quickly ran over to the camera to make an outtro. "Okay so I won and si lost that's all for now bye!"  I closed off and turned of the camera. I stretched and looked back at simon picking up the balls. I smiled and he came over to me and we packed up and went back to my car. I put the stuff in the back and jumped in and si followed. The air was awkward as I drove I looked over at si to see his face red? Annoyed at the awkward air I looked over to simon "wanna go nando's?" I asked as I watched his eyes light up at the thought. He nodded and chanted nando's on the way. 

Fucking hell he's cute.
