9. first shift

A/N: hello everyone it's been so long since I last updated this book and I feel kinda bad for that. You see I had real low motivation for a lot of things at one point. But now I'm back and I'm glad I'm back because now I can continue this story with a positive mindset. At first I didn't know where to go with this book but now I have an idea and feel like I can improve on it. Anyway let's just get into the chapter.

-SI'S POV-

*beep* *beep* *beep*

My phone alarm started going off and my first instinct was to throw the phone at the wall...but I held back and turned it of like a normal person. As I was getting up from my bed I heard a loud thud coming from Ethans room. Some what concerned I went to his room and opened his door. I ended seeing Ethan in bed fast asleep and his phone on the floor with a new crack in it's screen. I just assumed he had the same instinct as me but just less control then usual. After all he was pretty jet lagged.

I went over to his window and opened his blinds only to hear a loud moan and grunt with bed cover being tugged. I looked at ethan with a smile and grabbed his shoe and through it at him.

"Good morning!!" I yelled only to be met with more grunting and a hardly audible "shut up" from my friend. I eventually dragged him out of bed as how else is he gonna fix his sleeping patterns and went to get ready for work.

Today is a big day as one we have a new desert going on our menu and I was some how persuaded by cal to let him record a video at the café with harry and lux. Though I was scared that the three were gonna destroy my café cals a very persuasive person to the point he managed to get my stubborn ass let him and his friends work there for the day.

As I finished getting ready I grabbed my phone and checked the time. I was meant to be at work early today because of those three donkeys and help them set up cameras in the kitchen and at the till. Plus I had to put a sign up explaining the camera's in the shop so I don't get in trouble. I went into the living room and saw Ethan now fully dressed and eating his weird protein porridge he makes. Ethan volunteered as tribute to help out with filming and things as he was a youtuber himself. He didn't really do much when it came to youtube but their was the odd time I would see him kick a ball.....at me for camera.

I noticed we were gonna be late so I chucked on my shoes and grabbed ethan before he could take his next bite.

Eventually we were there after a 30 minute walk as Ethan insisted we did as exercise. As we approached the door I noticed cal standing outside with some camera equipment. He was staring down at his phone and seem to be in a world of his own so thought I would scare him as that was very easy to do. At this point it was the way I greeted him so what's the point in stopping now.

I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his waste and pulling him into a hug. He jumped slightly not expected the contact till he realised it was me. He just sighed we relief and kissed my cheek. I smiled and cuddled into him until our moment was ruined by ethan.

"Can you let us in now or do I have to break down the door??" He laughed forcing his way inbetween us snatching the keys from my hand. I just laughed at his random want of a attention and followed behind him helping cal carry the camera equipment.

~time skip to the recording~

Everyone had arrived and it was almost opening time. Today we had rescheduled opening and closing times for the shooting time. I had some sensible back up for this called tobi Josh and vik. JJ was there too. As said in out employee contract you have to wear café la dreams uniform. The benefit of this is its pretty casual. It just a hoodie with the ether the Crest hoodie or XIX t shirt. You also had to wear an apron no questions asked. I gave the three boys a hoodie or t shirt pretty much what I could find out back and an apron. They got ready in the staff room and we were finally ready for recording.
