"Jewel! Hi!" someone behind me called me...

That voice sounds familiar... Who could be calling me?

"OH! Hey!" I greeted excitedly.

"Going home?" Ryan greeted.

"Yeah! You?" I asked.

"Yeah, me too." he replied, "So, how are you?"

"Pardon me?" I look shocked

"By that I mean, how is drama for you?" he said

"Well, so far so good. It's not what I expected but it's good." I replied.

"Why?" he asked.

"Some events don't really suit my taste." I said.

"Oh... Like what?" he continued.

"Uhm... Uh... Pair work?" I said un surely.

"Seriously?!" he said shocked.

"Yeah why? Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"No! Nothing at all! It's just that I hate pair work too!" he said excitedly.

"Really?! Wow! Why?" I asked.

"James and Alex automatically partner each other leaving me alone. I always have to partner someone else." he explained.

"Oh, don't you like partnering Rose?" I asked.

"You know about her?" he replied.

"Yes.." I replied.

"Well, don't get me wrong but Rose in an awesome girl. I love partnering her, she gets me, you know?" he explained.

"Yeah..." I whispered to myself.

"But I want to be with my guy friends too. I have lots to tell them but they're always busy playing so Rose is the only person I could talk to. She's the only person that I can run to, she understands me." he continued.

"Oh... I don't mean to pry but are you two an item?" I asked.

"Why did you ask that?" he asked back.

"Rumors..." I replied.

"Oh! Well, I'd rather not answer that." he answered. I can see a solemn look on his face. What is going on. I want to know. I have to know.

"Oh, it's okay... I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to pry." I consoled him.

"Nah, it's okay." he replied

"Here comes my bus, I'll see you next time?" I asked.

"I can take any bus from here. I'll join you." he finally smiled.

"Sure!" I replied.

"Ryan!" a voice from afar shouted. Crap! It's Rose! What is she doing here! Why must she arrive at this timing! Why didn't she arrive about three minutes later!

"Rose?" he whispered, "I'm so sorry Jew, I can't go with you."

"It's okay!" I tried to say smiling.

"Thank you... I'll see you next time." he replied.

"Sure, bye!" I replied.

"Really sorry. Bye!" he waved and greeted. He ran straight to Rose.

Dang it! I've missed my chance. What is really going on between these two? I asked him, he doesn't want to answer. I mentioned her, suddenly all these compliments about her kept spilling out! Maybe they're just best friends? Seriously Jewel? Best friends? Well I'm just trying to stay positive. Forgive me for being negative but you got to wake up from fantasy and come back to reality! There is something fishy going on between the two of them. If there was nothing then Ryan would have told you straight that they were just best friends. But he didn't! He didn't want to answer! You know what, you're right! I know I'm right! We're always right. We're the same person! *sigh*
