Lost.

Callie's POV:

What just happened? Why I am i having a hard time breathing? I think I'm going to faint...

My sisters and I were at the hospital , my mom was sick , really sick. It felt strange here , I hated hospitals . Everyone was so tense and nervous , it scared the hell out of me. My mom had been sick for a while but she never made it obvious , and I never got to know what she had or how she got sick . Everyone just said she's sick. So I just went with it.

I was in the room with my mom and sisters , we were talking ,trying to hide the tension in the air. When the heart rate machine flattened or whatever , I started to scream and cry like a baby , I didn't care if it was humiliating . My sister Andrea , the oldest , pulled me out but I was trying my best to stay in the room , next thing I know we are at home . And I'm crying in my bed. I heard a knock on the door , I didn't bother answering , Brooklyn just came in , she is a few years younger than Andrea . With short brown hair and green eyes , I always remembered her wanting to dye her hair red , I smiled at the thought . I realized she was now sitting at the edge of my bed , smiling as well . "I'm scared too , you know?" She said . "Who wouldn't be?" I said back . "No one , we are all scared Callie , but Andrea , Zoe and me . We are really trying to stay as strong as we can." She said with worry in her emerald eyes. "Why?" I simply asked , it was honestly what I could think of , why were they holding tight , why weren't they crying? . "Because of you." She said , and gave me a truly heartwarming smile . "Me?" I repeated like a little girl . "We all want to scream and shout and cry but , we know that's not going to help us nor you." I smiled at her feeling emptiness , I wasn't sad , or happy or anything , I just felt empty . "What are gonna do now?" I said afraid of the answer . She avoided my gaze now , but she managed to say something "we knows? But tomorrow is going to better , I promise okay? We maybe lost now , but we'll find our way." I knew what she was going to say now , and it made me smile through the pain . "There will come a time you'll see" she started singing , I smiled "with no more tears and love will not break your heart but dismiss your fears." She continued and waited for me , "get over your hill and see what you fin there with grace in your heart and flowers in your hair" I finished . She took a flower from my night stand and put it in my hair , she smiled , kissed my head and left me by saying "goodnight".
