Chaper the date

Nejis POV

It was finally Friday and school had just ended for the day. Kaiya and I had been going home from school everyday this week. it had been really nice getting to know her more outside of locker rooms. i had found out that she preferred to be refereed to as a female, but wasn´t sure if she wanted to change her gender permanently. this was a topic she had been reluctant to talk about. but  we surprisingly enough shared allot of common interest such as Tv-shows, music and deserts. she also told me she had noticed me for my eyes. apparently they where very emotional and honest. I felt amazing finding out all these little things about her. yes in my head i refereed to him as her now sens that was what she preferred. at least when she was dressed this way. i had no problem whit it, it actually made things easier for me in a way. i didn´t have to correct myself all the time and when we went home together i didn´t have to worry about who saw us or if it was alright to be close, no one would care or judge us. 

where going to walk home together today to. i would follow her to the crossroad then go home to my place and get changed for our date today, she would probably do the same once she got inside her home I'm  guessing. I found Kaiya by her Looker Talking whit Kim her best friend. she was smiling whit adorably blushing cheeks, her eyes glistering happy. my heart litterly skipt a beat at the sight of her. I went over there nervously whit a smile, trying to hide the nerves.                                                               -hi...are you ready to leave? Kim looked at me whit a knowing grin.                                                                                                                                                       -oh she is more then ready for you...aren't you Kaiya?                                                               -shhh...Kim! yes I'm finished lets go Neji. Kaiya did something then that would change so much between us yet it was such a cute little gesture. she gave me a peck on the cheek and took hold of my hand, holding it and started walking whit me like that out of the school building. I remember getting slightly embarrassed by the gesture, but really liking it. it felt like we where an official item, that she was mine. people from school where looking after us as we past them. some guys that obviously hadn´t heard the rumours yet  watched whit ave after me and others just watched in disbelieve. like they couldn't believe I was whit Her. i think i even heard someone murmur to their friends, wondering who i was. i where not known. just one amongst everyone else so i wasn´t surprised by it. then when we got outside of the building we saw Billy and his gang in the school yard, they looked disgusted at us both, then he yelled out loudly.                                                                 - god! just look at the perfect match! the fancy pants and the boring idiot! Hey Kaiya! shoulden't you get together whit someone like yourself? oh that's right, I forgot you already had!  everyone of them laughed right out at us and I felt how Kaiyas hand where slipping away from mine. I held on to it firmer and looked at Kaiya.                                                                                                                          -Don't listen to them. your above them. They are just jealous because you are not available to them anymore. knowing that they where beaten by a simple guy like me. I got Farley rewarded whit the sweetest smile by that and she a squeezed my hand in hers. The moment felt really precious to me.

my mind saw him like a girl but also just as the person that was making my heart flutter then and there. He really felt like the girlfriend i had first thought her to be. that struck me. it wheren't true yes i knew about her being a boy, yes i still really cared for her and decided to see past all that, even had accepted that she was a boy. yet I Hadn't registered it yet, I KNEW he was a guy, not a girl. yet it didn't't get through to me properly. and i wasn´t sure how to make it really stick.
