"Hehe, play with me?" Asks a tiny voice. I look over to see Sally standing with a boy with blond dirty hair, and black and red eyes. I've never seen this boy before...
"Um...sure?" I say shakily as I smile and look down at her. The boy walks towards me and holds my hand. He's a few inches taller than me, but not much. Sally smiles and giggles.
"You and Ben hide, and I'll seek! Don't let me find you!" She says as she skips away. I look frantically around before taking the knife always keep in my pocket out and holding the handle to my chest. The tip points out towards the forest with a sharp curve at the end.
"C'mon, we don't have much time. Sally uses her bear to follow people and I don't want to be followed by that creepy mother fucker." I say as I drag the boy, whose name is Ben, behind me. He just follows and stays quiet.
"So, you're a new creepypasta?" I say in confusion as I grind my teeth together.
"No." He says for the first time since I met him.
"Wow, I don't know how I missed you, I've researched all of your kind. Why were you with Sally?" I ask as I look around and hold the handle of the knife tightly.
"...She's picked on, like me. We're both understood, that's why we're such great friends."
I smile and look up at him. He does seem like the type who had a dreadful past...but why the Link costume? Yes, I used to play The Legend Of Zelda, Mario Bros, Sonic The Hedgehog, Ratchet And Clank, Jack and Baxter, and many others in my day. I don't usually play them often.
"...Why the costume?" I ask as I flick his hat. He looks over at me and smiles weakly.
"It's from my favorite game." He says as though it's the same thing he's said a billion times.
"The Legend Of Zelda? That's a good game, but I prefer Jack And Baxter." I say as I shrug.
He looks over at me and laughs. I raise a brow an put a hand on my hip.
"What? Am I not good enough to play that game?" I ask sassily as I let my guard down.
"No, it's not that, it's just that you seem like the type to go shopping. You don't look like the type that play-"
"I found you!" N-no...
I look down to see Sally holding her bear and a knife. I quickly raise my knife and get into fighting position. I'm weak, yes, but I'll fight until the end.
"Ben...leave." I say as I take my knife out and growl lowly.
Ben looks at me before letting go of my hand and walking into the shadows. It's just me and Sally now.
"You," I say before squinting my eyes and glaring at her. "Don't touch my son." I say before lunging and burying the knife into her shoulder. She screams and starts to cry. But, that was all an act. She lunges at me and pants the knife in my thigh, dragging it done to my ACL. I shriek and fall to the ground in obvious pain. I'd bleed out in no time, there's no pint in struggling.
Slowly, my world began to fade. All I could think about, is my baby Toby.
