Because of the director’s anger, the studio was deadly silent for a couple of minutes.

Wang Jie quickly pulled Du Yu Shu away and handed her a cup of hot water as she put a jacket on top of her. She wanted to say some words of comfort but in the end, no words could come out. She could only embrace Du Yu Shu and patted her shoulders a couple of times.

Du Yu Shu looks at her lazily and spits out a word, “Painful.”

Wang Jie saw that she spoke and sighed in relief. She laughed, “She didn’t hurt you, why did you hurt her?”

Du Yu Shu quietly glanced at her for a few minutes and suddenly said, “Wang Jie, I need post-editing for it to be quality right?”

Wang Jie thought that this little ancestor should not waste time on this insignificant problem, “What about post-editing? What movie doesn’t do post-editing? You don’t look down on post-editing do you? If there is no post-editing, do you think the movie will be released?”

Seeing that Du Yu Shu didn’t speak, Wang Jie patted her shoulder and continued, “What is wrong with post-editing? If you two….”

“I’m going to talk to Ye Jing An.” Du Yu Shu suddenly said after a few moments of silence as she stood up, the jacket on her shoulder draped down.

She said it in a gentle tone like she was talking about the weather. Scared, Wang Jie quickly pulled her to sit down.

“Little ancestor,” Wang Jie bitterly said, “Don’t add on to our problems alright? You’re still going to look for Ye Jing An to fight? We are only gentle and weak girls!”

Du Yu Shu restrained herself from rolling her eyes. She felt helpless inside. Is her relationship with Ye Jing An that bad? When she said she was going to look for Ye Jing An to talk, they would think that she is looking for him to start something.

It’s a little melancholic.
