Have you ever looked around you and asked yourself ‘why are my friends still around?’ Have you wondered why they chose to be friends with you? Why this outgoing, funny, easy going person sitting around your dorm with you and other people who have no choice but to be there? Have you looked in the mirror and wondered, ‘Why are they still around? They could have much better looking friends than me, they could have skinnier friends, funnier friends, friends that are easier to see?’ Have you ever wondered if they just feel bad for you? or if they do it out of pity? But then you sit back and realize, they’ve obviously stuck around for a reason. Do you realize how lucky you are? They chose you to sit and laugh with, they chose you to waste their time with, they see something in you that others don’t. Just sit back and notice that you’re extremely lucky and blessed, they chose you for a reason and you shouldn’t take that for granted.
