The Dragon Heir

Prolouge.

The Boy watched as his best friend fought against the corrupt marines. She seemed to do a pretty good job for a 13 year old girl,until one of the marines dragged her mother to the front. "Unless you want your mother to pay for your stupidity, You should put down your weapon and come with us." The Boy was instantly enraged, he wished he could run out and beat the marines into the ground but knew he couldn't. He was as weak as they came, and he knew it. He watched with regret and helplessness as his childhood friend surrendered and was dragged away in chains. He began punching the ground in anger at his own helplessness, but something then caught his eye. A newspaper with it's title turned his way. It was a photograph of a group of pirates standing on a wooden deck. He read the description. The Straw hat pirates strike again! It seems from public rumor that the Straw hat pirates have destroyed another marine headquarters. The Boy stopped reading and skimmed to were this happened his heart beating faster than usual. When he realized that they were only three islands away from him he nearly jumped for joy but contained himself not trying to draw attention from the ever growing crowd. He would find them he vowed and he would get them to help them, by any means necessary.
