It's been almost a year now. I'm gonna be 11 in a few months! Yay!
My family and I grew even closer together, and we got used to the situation. It was only one time when paparazzi took a pic of me and mom, but they never figured out who I was. I had big sunglasses, as well as Cami; I looked up at her and held her hand as she held mine and a water bottle in her other hand. We were on our way to one of her shows, we wanted some alone time, and the paparazzi found us when we were walking together, -too focused on conversations to even notice.
There are a lot of theories of who I am. I find it quite funny...
One: the fans think I'm Sofie's best friend since forever, and Camila and I know each other well and we were catching up. ha. Funny.
Two: the fans think I'm her cousin. (That's actually pretty realistic if you ask me.)
Three: the fans think I'm her long lost daughter and my father died, so now she needs to take responsibility for me, since she did give birth to me... close, but not close enough camilizers!
Four: small part of them believes that I look just like Camila and Lauren, that's why I'm both their daughter, they're doing turns on who takes me when, and that day was Camila's. Ha. ridicules, right?
Now... how do I know Lauren you ask? Come on guys! Did you forget I was a fan of Cami waaay back? So, I was also a huge Camren shipper. Like, really guys, who isn't? You could practically see the love in their eyes. But. I also love my mom, more than anything, and I trust her, I want her to be happy, and... well, maybe Lauren wasn't making her happy? even if it was love?
So,
The fans talked about it for a while... some still do, but the press never did... it didn't matter to them. Little did they know, it could make them rich. Oh well...
We were now backstage playing songs and dancing stupidly. Well, at least Sofie, Sinu, and Alejandro did. I sat on Cami's lap, as they tried to entertain Cami before her show, and I was just being a good daughter and giving her my special hugs.
We laughed hysterically -tilting our heads back in the process- at our family's silliness.
"Okay I have 10 minutes." Camila mumbled to herself.
"You'll do great mommy. Like you always do." I said sincerely while smiling adoringly at her.
She kissed my forehead.
"Thank you sweetheart. One day, you'll walk with me on that damn stage and we'll sing together." She said as she held me tighter.
"Camila! You're up! Let's go!" A guy yelled from outside the dressing room after 10 minutes have passed.
"Wish me luck?" Camila asked nervously.
"We would, but you don't need it. You're amazing, you're gonna do great, and everybody will still love you even if you mess up real bad... it's still okay. And even if not, I'll always love you." I smiled up at her. Wow I'm so cheesy. But I so meant it!
She picked me up with her from the couch into a tight hug.
"You know what is the best feeling ever? even more then being on stage?"
"What?" I looked down into her eyes.
Her eyes were a lot like mine... she had chocolate brown eyes, I had chocolate brown with light green eyes.
"To hear you say you love me." She said as I put my head on her chest.
"I love you mommy." I whispered.
