In this story, you'll be seeing the Romanov family quite a bit, especially where Nicholas is concerned. He was born in 1868 in a world of wealth and titles, yet he wasn't exactly raised that way.

Well, not in this particular story.

Nicholas knew the Trichenberg family his entire life (there will be more about them soon), and he helped them regain their social status in the imperial court as well as fostering Hadassah Trichenberg. Leo and his own children also help Nicholas in every way they could, from fighting with his uncles on his behalf to forcing the council, along with the imperial court, to do what Nicholas wanted. Leo also clashed with Nicholas's enemies whenever he got the chance.

As for Nicholas's family, his mother Marie, his brother Michael, and sisters Olga and Xenia will be featured, yet it's the story about Nicholas's wife Alexandra and their five children that will take center stage due to their very close interactions with Hadassah. (Yet Olga is the only one featured for now; the others haven't been born yet.)

While the Trichenbergs and Romanovs clash over who deserves to raise Hadassah (as the entire Imperial court is upset that Leo isn't allowed to raise his daughter), the little girl in question is beginning to discover her own magic, and that's what changes the dynamics in the Romanov family...
